I have always loved going to the "locals" place. Not anymore. The service has always been questionable but this time it was beyond terrible. We had to wait 10 minutes to order because my elderly mother wanted the special. I even joked that by the time we got the food it would be after 5, but the waitress would not... More

Met our niece and her family at Ginger Brown's for Sunday breakfast, and it could not have been better. We were seated in an efficient amount of time, and our "Effie" breakfast was excellent for what it was. Service was great, and the servers overall were a great, upbeat group. It had been a few years since we had been... More

Food is very flavorful and cooked well. I had the chicken santa Cruz which was not very pretty but was delicious. The fried green tomatoes were out of this world. My kids and husband had the chicken 4 ever strips and they were good. Lots of great sides to choose from. The cinnamon rolls come with each meal and are... More

Always loved eating at Ginger Browns, famous for their home cooking, homemade pies and HUGE homemade cinnamon rolls. Haven't been in years and it was nothing like it used to be. Had chicken livers which were so over cooked they were too hard to eat. The pies are now advertised as mountains of meringue which is beyond true - pie... More

Hours are incorrect on TA. Arrived at 8:25 pm, greeted with a banner that informed us they close at 4 on Sundays. My rating is for a previous visit

It's got a fun atmosphere, but the food quality is that of any greasy spoon, the okra was flavorless. The redeeming quality to the restaurant is it's cinnamon rolls.

This place is busy, good food, wide choices, great prices & good service. It is good for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I had not been in here awhile, but it is still good. You can get a free meal on your birthday if you take your ID to prove it.

I really would recommend staying away on Sunday because it is packed with the church crowd. I don't really like the food, I don't really want to bash the place but I just don't like it. Some people do though! It's very popular. Mashed potatoes taste instant, the Mac and cheese doesn't taste like cheese. Gravy is lumpy. I would... More

Nice daily selection for entrée and lots of vegetables. Had the fried grits - wonderful. All meals come with the best cinnamon rolls. They have piled high pies for sale to go.

Pecan pancakes with a side of bacon. Had a great flavor, quick, prompt service and much better than the IHOP down the street. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a hole in the wall with great food.
