I typically have the raviolis but I have a new favorite. If I had to choose a last meal the Pasta Primavera at Aventinos is one of the top 5 dishes of any food group that I have eaten. I highly encourage anyone living or visiting in the DFW area to make the drive to enjoy this family run delight.

After consuming a lot of barbecue and steak, we opted for some Italian food. We looked up some Italian restaurants and decided to leave the Stockyards area and selected a neighborhood restaurant. How fortunate for us. The service was terrific, attentive without being intrusive, and the food was delightful. The menu was well priced and varied. My wife selected a veal... More

I can't complain about the food, it was delicious.........When it finally arrived. We had reservations for 8 people at 7 pm. We were on time and our table was waiting. We all ordered our drinks (there is no bar) and appitizers. Everything moved well up to that point. By 7:15 she had taken our orders and then it went down... More

I am on assignment to Fort Worth, been living apart from my family for 10 months. So when my wife visits, I always want a nice romantic place for dinner, a little wine and good conversation. A friend recommended Aventinos to fulfill all of my criteria. Located in a simple strip mall, you walk in was were immediately greeted by... More

Our family & friends had a wonderful group dinner with entree choices of Salmon over Spinach as gluten free option, Lasagna, Shrimp Scampi or Chicken Parmesan. Having one side of the restaurant to ourselves was great, the antipasto platter was incredibly good and the servers were friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back the next time we are in... Aventino’s was a long time favorite of the older crowd in west Fort Worth. However, time, changing demographics and an ownership change brought it down. Aventino’s disappeared for a time, but reemerged a few years ago at its current location. We visited not long after it opened, and to be charitable, I was not impressed. Accordingly, I did not darken... More

We had a family dinner at Aventino's, and all agreed it was a great choice! Erica and Chris could not have been more helpful, and the meal was exactly as promised during my long-distance pre-planning with them. The separate space was perfect for our size group (about 20). This would be a nice place to host a birthday gathering, small... More

I really wanted to like this place and yet.....I need a thesaurus to come up with enough synonyms for bland to attempt a description. The white sauce for the "carbonara" was virtually tasteless. The giant bowl of pasta and sauce was sprinkled with bits of bacon but none of the rich complex flavors expected in this classic came through. The... More

This is some of the best Italian food I've had in Fort Worth and, for that matter, west of New York. The Chicken Milanaise was superb...so tender and lucious flavor. Their special tonight (Saturday) was the veal and was as good as I've outside of Italy. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food and they offer... More

Enjoyed lasagna, salad and dessert with a glass of wine for under 25.00. It was located in a strip mall, family oriented with a lot of older distinguished couples dining as well. Very enjoyable. Food was tasty and I was satisfied.
