This is a surprisingly good place to put together a tasty dinner from the salad bar or pizza/sandwich counter or chef case, then take it outside on the patio and enjoy a good al fresco dinner on a 'cool' FW evening. Many nights there is good quality entertainment with live performances most weekends.

I was so pleased to find foods, wines and spices from different cultures in one location. Let's not forget the cooked and prepared deli foods that are to die for. This is more than just a market it's foodie heaven for the gastronomes in most of us.

On Friday and Saturday nights, this is a great place to grab some bites, cheese, wine and whatever else you want and sit on the patio and listen to the live music

If you have never gone to central Market for lunch or a take home dinner, you have a great experience in store for yourself. Whatever I have ever gotten there has been better than good. Terrific selections.

We love Central Market! Not only do we get great coffee and other exotic store items, we look forward to taking a break during our shopping and eating a delicious meal or snack! Lots of choices and wonderful foods all ready waiting for you to enjoy.

Wander around and find exactly what you want, but the salad bar, olive bar, and soup bar are the best around. It's self serve, so don't expect to see a waiter. It's all about the quality of food and the taste. Oh, and don't forget the bakery. They bake a green olive bread that is to die for, and a... More

Look I shop here at least 3 times a month. The food store has the freshest produce, HEB house brand staples, bulk bins for tea, spices (a real bargain) grains, dried beans, pasta, granola and more. The bakery is intoxicating. An entire department is devoted to cheese (600 varieties) Locals bring out of town visitors to CM just for the... More

I love stopping at the Sushi counter while shopping at Central Market for groceries. They are almost always offering free samples...and that is what got me hooked a couple of years ago. My favorite is the "Dallas Roll"...spicy crab with slices of avocado across the top, eel sauce...yum!

CM was one of my favorite places to shop, but has since lost their edge. The floor staff are still very pleasant and helpful, but their "taste of the Greece" was a disappointment. I understand the need to introduce the populace to international foods and traditions, and rightfully so, but it must be done with care. The Cooking School has... More

A wonderful grocery store and deli. All the food is delicious and of high quality. When we visit my MIL in Lakeside, we take the long (and sometimes scary) ride to Fort Worth to shop and dine at the Central Market. This is the place to go when you value high quality and/or organic food. It is expensive; but you... More
