My wife and I went to Branch & Bird while on short vacation in downtown Fort Worth. Restaurant is on 12th floor of high-rise office building in downtown. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. It was warm night but nice breeze so we sat...outside. It was great choice. Live music was playing and patio was quite large and happening. The service was friendly and prompt. We had the trio dip dish and very tasty. Then we shared chicken flatbread which was also delicious. It was quite the surprise but such a great evening and restaurant. Highly recommend and we will be back.More

Thank you for visiting us during your vacation. That 12 Floor rooftop breeze is amazing, our patio is shaded all day making it the perfect place to enjoy a nice ice cold cocktail and enjoy the views. Our patio gets filled up quick, so we...More

I think they have recently renamed the place to Branch and Bird. Nevertheless, it’s in the Frost bank building on Taylor and 5th downtown. There’s a free parking garage. We went for drinks on the patio just to check it out and loved the space....Very cool vibe inside the restaurant and out on the patio and a good selection of cocktails, beer & wine. The four of us each had something different and we all really liked them. The dinner and appetizer menu looked delicious and we’ll be going back for food too.More

Took a co-worker to lunch at this well-advertised luncheon spot, in downtown Fort Worth, you really need to use their specific driving directions, and instructions to get to the correct parking garage, no valet close by, and it awkward finding your way to the top...floor of the building. Once there, I had reservations, but the reception was weird, like the hostess was shocked that anyone had reservations for the place. The resturarant is located ont eh top floor, and I can totally see why an after work drink might be great from the view on at the top, but to have lunch, was just totally underwhelming. we were there at 12 noon and literally the only person's there, and the service was at a snails pace. We had to ask, to move it along since we were on a lunch meeting, and timelines to stick to, the waiter gave an air of being put out, especially when I asked if there were any appetizers to order. His comment was "no" then walked off, to get our iced tea. At any rate, sandwiches and a flatbread were the selections, really disappointed in the menu, or lack of menu.... and the waiter was a total turn-off, However, when our food did arrive it actually was plated nicely, and the flavors were great. Unless we are packing our own picnic basket and going to the top floor for an evening sunset view and a cocktail, this place has been crossed off my list as a been there done that....More

The patio in this brand new building is 12 floors up, so no bugs or car noise. It faces away from the sun, although you can see the sunset around the corner. Even in August, it was pleasant with a light breeze and full shade...(at 7pm). Also, being outdoors it was not too loud, even with a party of 20 women next to us. And the music was not annoyingly loud. The food was geared towards shareables - deviled eggs, sliders, shish kabobs, etc. I thought it was pretty good. There didn't seem to be a real full-on traditional entree. My drink was fine. The service was a little spotty. It's a nice place to go for drinks and to share small plates with friends.More

We had a group of 4 and just went for drinks and the view. The view is pretty good - not spectacular. However, the drinks were well below par (except for the wine which was fine). The other 3 were disappointing. Certainly not the worst...drinks, but then again easy to get much better elsewhere (and less than $12/each). Go for something like wine or beer just to avoid being disappointed. The waitress was nice enough as were the others. Offered little response to being unimpressed with the cocktails though. The elevator was cool.More
