Join all the local families who settle in here for lunch and dinner. The menu includes all the favorites, including a nice selection of well-prepared seafood dishes. Service, while not particularly fast, is friendly and attentive. This is a great alternative to Joe T Garcia's when it's crowded.

This place has won awards for best whole in the wall and such but it has disappointed me for the last time. The menu is ok but could be better. The same with the chips and salsa. The margaritas were cool on a very hot day but rank low in flavor and even lower in alcohol content. My wife and... More

Ate lunch for the first time. Service was prompt and courteous bring my drink along with chips and salsa. The salsa and chips were great with the salsa having a nice kick and the chips void of the little crumbs that are difficult to eat and impossible to dip in the salsa. I started with the Queso Flameado a asadro... More

I'm almost sad I have to write a review like this about one of my local restaurants. As a guy that eats all over the world it is nice to have place at home where you can fall back to. Good food from great people. Sadly El Asadero is not that place. Anyway, OK, here it goes, my first bad... More

I just had my first meal here and it was great! We had the bean and cheese nachos. My entree was chichen enchiladas suiza. It was so good. The refried beans and rice were great too. This is a small restaurant and was very busy on a Saturday afternoon. The service was not very fast but the food is worth... More

Absolutely one of the best small restaurants. Authentic Mexican dishes and atmosphere. We always order the grilled shrimp. Not to expensive and wonderful.

The salsa is very spicy and the chips are extra crispy. Just the way I love it. We come here for that and the Caldo de Res... A huge bowl of country-style soup served with rice and tortillas. All this for $6.49. Incredible bargain and so good.

El Asadero has great food and drinks. Excellent margaritas. The service is always quick and polite. If you park in the back you can call them and they will open the back door to allow you to walk through instead of walking around the building.

Found this on Tripadvisor and decided to try it. Not disappointed. Small, Family-run place with really good food. Went back the next week just to make sure and try some other menu items and it was very good. Everything was flavored well with the right amount of spice. The shrimp cocktail is awesome, just like you find on the streets... More

What a find! Not far from Joe T's but cheaper, more choices and delicious! Excellent service, the nachos had real cheddar and lots of it. Mikey loved his enchiladas and I loved my chicken quesadilla. The chicken actually had flavor. I cannot wait to try something else, soon.
