Bugs in food

I placed a to go order last night. I got home and ate almost all of it until my grand baby pointed out that there were little black and white bugs crawling all over it. I can't see well so I didn't notice it. My...kids recorded multiple videos of the bugs crawling all over my order. I called the restaurant to let them know and they said it's impossible. I told them I could send the videos of the bugs, but was told they couldn't get videos. I feel disgusted and feel like they didn't care. I wasn't asking for anything free or even my money back. The fact that they didn't care and tried to say it was impossible tells me a lot. I liked this place before this incident and now I don't want to eat out anymore. I have taken some screenshots from the videos my kids took. The bugs were very tiny so you might have to zoom in.More

First, and Probably Last Visit

In spite of very friendly wait staff, I found the food to be lacking. My beef and cheese nachos were a very large portion, but they were awash in the fat from the meat, leaving an oily residue on my fingers. The tortilla soup was...chocked full of avacado, chicken, cheese, etc., but was sorely lacking in any seasoning. Kind of blah!More

Hector is the best!

My family and I stopped in here for the first time around Thanksgiving and were pleasantly surprised at the delicious food and absolutely superb service we received from Hector! He made our visit so fun and memorable and we’ve rarely experienced such hospitality and great...service as he provided for us! We highly recommend this place - and you have to try to Frog Dip!More

Dinner and drinks.

The food is very good service is great, we had a waiter the last time we were in I asked for a drink that they hadn't heard of and he went out of his was to find a recipe and make it (did a great...job)this our favorite Mexican restaurant in Forney!More

Out of all of the local Tex-Mex places...

In my opinion, this is the top of them all. I’ve lived in Forney for over 5 years and have eaten at all of the Mexican food this town has to offer. Even better than Cristina’s. The service is excellent and the food is the...simply amazing. You will not be disappointed.More

dinner for 2

Our dinner was as always superb experience! We only eat at Los Hermanos, no other restaurant in Forney compares!!! The employees are all friendly and always eager to make sure our time there is excellent! Way to go Los Hermanos!!!

Take out

Ordered food take out and asked multiple times no onions please. And of course it was full of onions. It’s happened more than one time. Not a good feeling when you arrive home and it’s not what I ordered this place really sucks on paying...attention.More

Late dinner

Food was good and service was great. We were passing through after a softball game and never have been. Glad we stopped.

Just ok

The food was decent, but the service was lacking! We went in the middle of the summer and pretty sure they didn't have air. My family of six was sweating like crszy,!

Tried Los Hermanos again, pretty good this time

We've had good luck at Los Hermanos, so tried it again on a recent Tuesday night. Arrived about 6:30, seated immediately. Their salsa with the diced onion is good, I really like it compared to others. I tried the stuffed avocado w/ chicken - very...good! Charo beans good, could use a little more kick. Wife had the street taco, she enjoyed them, very generous with the meat. Good meal, good fast service. We'll go back.More

Good Tex-Mex

The second best Tex-Mex in Forney. Good food, good service, average pricing. Right off the highway, easy access.

Great food and drinks

Whether it’s just my wife and I, or our 12 person extended family, or 20 the folks are Los Hermanos make us feel at home. The food is great, the bartenders make some good drinks, and the servers are always friendly quick and knowledgeable. Want...quiet? Ask for the front room. Big group, the main room. Watching the game? Go to the bar. Try the frog dip as an appetizer. Just do it. You’ll like it.More

Great Atmosphere/Good Food

We frequent Los Hermanos weekly. In writing this review I’m pulling from countless visits, rather than just one or two. In our experience they consistently provide excellent service, and very good Tex-Mex food. Servers work hard to ensure that drinks and salsa never run out....We rarely have to wait to be seated, and the atmosphere is family friendly.More

Good Service, Good Food

Visited LH on a Thursday evening. Arrived at 6 and were seated right away. After that there were folks waiting to be seated. I had the carne asada and it was great. I asked for it to be coked 'medium' and it was spot on...- served on a hot platter with grilled onions. Came with rice/beans (bland), pic and guac (stingy with the guac!). Wife had a cheese & spinach enchilada & she said they were good. With one beer we were out with a $25 bill, not bad. Will definitely go back.More
