We have eaten at the Empress of China for years but something has changed in the last few months. I don't know if there is new management or not but the food is just not as good. The last two times my husband and I both have not enjoyed our food at all. The Vanilla Prawns used to be so... More

We love this place. We have ordered food twice a month on Sunday night for so long I can't remember. My wife has sesame allergy and they are always very careful. Every time we get the same great gentleman that delivers. He is so nice. The food is excellent. We have tried so many dishes and all have been awesome.

Felt rushed the moment we sat down even though it was only 5:30 and the place was not crowded. Needed time to look at the menu, was given a couple minutes and the waiter was back to ask for our order. Asked for a few more minutes, then ordered an appetizer and he wanted to take our entrée order too.... More

Empress of China in Flower Mound is one branch of the chain and of the ones I've been to this is the best in terms of food quality. We started with the fried calamari and pan-fried dumplings. The calamari disappointed tonight; they were flavorless. The dumplings were very good as was the egg drop soup. Main courses were shared and... More

A nice variety of great appetizers, I enjoy the shrimp and the soup. Generous portions of food with a nice mixture of meat and vegetables that are cooked correctly and have not lost their flavor.

Good food and cocktails. Nice atmosphere. The kind of a place where they recognize you. Their General Cho's Chicken is excellent. It's a birthday dinner for my daughter every year.

Just tried to have dinner at the Empress. We dine there pretty regularly, and the service has been prompt, food good and we're in and out without a lot of waiting. Tonight was the worst dining experience I've had at the Empress. This was an 1.5 hour of waiting on food that was cold or wrong when it finally came... More

We originally ordered take out on Christmas Day because we wanted some snacks in the evening. This was one of the few places open. We are so glad we did! They were great so we decided to dine in later on. Very extensive menu. Very nice restaurant and very clean. Friendly employees. Definitely will be back.

This place will not disappoint, the food is always excellent and the service is very, very good. I recommend the lunch portion, very big and will send you home with left overs. Prices are for the budget minded.
