I had some of the freshest, most succulent sashimi I've had in a long time! Truly melt in your mouth tender sashimi offerings. I'm marking my calendar for next month when I'm back in town. Unlike most sushi restaurants, they have red miso soup which...has a bit more body than the usual white miso.More

I ordered the sashimi / sushi dinner. What I got was not good. The sashimi wasn’t fresh and it wasn’t cut correctly. It seems they placed the dark discolored fish facing the plate. I tried a piece or two and stopped eating it. My friends...had rolls and if you like rolls you might be ok. This is not authentic sushi. The place is dirty and run by a very young staff. The glass partition where the fish is kept for viewing at the sushi bar is filthy. The overall cleanliness is not up to par. I would look elsewhere for sushi.More

Visited this restaurant for dinner on a Friday ... The restaurant was almost full. The menu primarily included a number of sushi choices. However, for those (like me) who would prefer cooked food (nothing raw), there were a few options available. The restaurant did serve...alcohol (Beer & Wine). The food and the service was very good.More

We had the worst experience last night at piranha sushi in Flower Mound. I don't know if the owner is to cheap to hire staff or a very poor planner. There was a full house and I saw only 2 wait staff. It took forever...to our first beer and it was warm by the time it got to the table. We ordered edamame and it was delivered by it self. We had no set up at the table. We and no extra plates. No soy sauce. no soy sauce bowls. Fortunately I found napkin and chopsticks on another table. We saw three other parties leave due to no service. There appeared to be no one managing the place. the food arrived after we had to ask about it and the sushi was warm like the beer. The worse experience I have ever had and I feel like my $89 was stolen. I wont be back. Good luck to the owner and staff.More

We go to Pirahna at least once a week and love it when they have live music on Thursdays. Great atmosphere and nice dog-friendly patio!

We've been coming here for years but hadn't been in a while so we met some friends for lunch and the whole meal was a disaster. I think they had one waitress on staff so it took about 15 minutes to get our first drink....Then she brought my husband the wrong dish and the rest of the table was completely finished eating before she brought the correct dish so he ate by himself. The two guys went to the bathroom and said they were sliding on the floor because it had a layer of grease on it. Made us wonder if it changed management or they're getting ready to close?More

Very nice atmosphere, and the fish quality was very good, but I ordered the Chefs selection special, where they provide a chef's choice roll and sushi / sashimi on a boat. The sushi roll was premade, and very cold, and may have just been defrosted....The rice had formed into a glutinous mass, and the tempura shrimp in the roll was completely soggy. If I wanted a roll made hours before, I would have picked some up from a supermarket. They apologized, and made a new roll, which was freshly made, but the rice fell apart and it was poorly made, but tasted fine. Maybe I just caught them on a bad night when their sushi chef was out.More
