Waited over an hour after ordering. Party of 16 arrived after our party of 4 & they were served first. I put soft butter on my broccoli & it didn't even start to melt. Mashed potatoes quickly hard, due to cool temp. Everything had potential,...but ruined because it was cold. After waiting over an hour I just ate it. Too hungry to wait and didn't want friends who had taken us to feel bad. Wait staff nice. Good company. Disappointing food experience.More

We had a fantastic server at this restaurant who made us feel extremely welcome. The food is predominately fish and meat with a limited selection. The steak and chicken were good but not as great as I was expecting for a steak house. I’d eat...here again but it’s not cheap for a weekday meal.More

Nice place in a nice setting. On the small side as restaurants go but nicely done interior. Food was OK not great (wife had chicken fried steak but very little gravy and none on the potatoes though it was provided on request.) Veggies were not...cooked until tasteless lumps and were actually good. Service was OK but a bit slow.More

Shout Out to Owner Svetlana, Server Beka, and the Yellow Rose Steak and Chop House team for providing such a fabulous venue for last night's 90th Birthday Celebration for my mother-in-law, Caroline. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. Caroline felt very honored!!

If you are going to eat here get a burger and drink bourbon at the bar. Do not get a steak or the Luby’s cafeteria veggies. Do not get a pork chop. I wish this area could support a real steak house but I guess...the financials are just not here to allow that.More

First and foremost it was uncomfortably warm inside the restaurant. The calamari strips were very good, the rest was average, medium steak a little too cooked, vegetable medley, steamed and bland, French fries limp. Service staff, appeared to be training, we couldn’t tell who was...training whom. Other tables got bread, we never did. Meals arrived before we were done with salads, had to flag server down to get pepper. Way too many restaurants in the dfw area to ever have to go back and eat an average expensive meal.More

Food and service is always good. Lunch specials are very reasonably priced. Venture off of the lunch menu and it gets a little pricey!

We finally found the opportunity to dine at this local gem and we are glad that we did! The establishment is not that big, but the atmosphere and food were both fantastic. We both started with the Lobster and Shrimp Bisque which was absolutely delicious. for...entrees, my wife had the Shrimp Fettuccine and I had the Double Cut New Zealand Lamb Chops. Both were excellently prepared and frankly, we left nothing on our plates. My wife actually went back when I was out of town and confirmed what we both knew...this place is the bomb!More

My colleagues chose steaks, but I couldn’t resist the New Zealand lamb chops. I was not disappointed! Have them cooked medium, it’s the best for lamb. Everyone steals come out perfect. The cocktail list is classic but well done, it was a delight to see...Pimms on the menu! The downside was the crème brûlée. The top was “crackable” (I expect no less) but the inside was cold. Overall very good.More

This one was off my radar for too long. It was open for Mother’s Day and we took a chance. Wow. Great food. Menu has choices for all - seafood, chicken and steaks. Did I mention steaks? The prime rib was awesome! The steak offerings...were totally unexpected for a local restaurant. My wife had the lobster tail which was good sized and outstanding. And she is a fish snob. The baked potato was huge and perfectly cooked. The other potato offering was excellent. The strawberry topping on the cheesecake was warmed. We will definitely be back to this jewel!!!More
