This was one of your favorite places to go, believe it or not, for catfish-the owner had to sale because of health reasons . The batter on the catfish used to be so light and crisp but with the owner change so has the catfish batter ie not as good. This restaurant use to serve potato wheels , which were... More

This joint is established and you can always count on good barBQ and cobbler! We had fried catfish this trip and it was yummy! The Cole slaw was disappointing, steer clear! The price is normal for this area. Their sides are just so-so which is why I didn't rate them as high. Stick with onion rings or fried and you'll... More

We stopped in for a sandwich and ended up buying a ton of bbq. Brisket was excellent and tender, ribs were succulent and moist with just the right amount of smoke, beans were to die for as was the tater salad. Will definitely eat here again. Oh yes, the lady who filled our order was super friendly and nice so... More

When we first found this place we had just moved here and it was the best ribs I've ever had !! Two years later I guess they're under new management. I don't know what they did but, they changed the menu...now the ribs are OK not any different than any other place around.

Just some good ol' down home cookin'. I had the pulled pork plate with slaw and okra - very tasty. The service was friendly and fast. The atmosphere is rustic but clean and comfortable. I'd go out of my way to eat here again!!!

My family and friends were so happy to dine here. I did expect good BBQ because that's what my friends had said about the food. They didn't tell me about the service, the ambiance. They even left out the music!!! There was such a talented man playing the piano, it got all the children in our large party hopping on... More

Loved the fried dill pickles and the service was great. Others at the table had country fried steak, brisket and ribs which were also good too. Brisket didn't have enough burnt ends to my liking but it was still good.

Thank Tracy A
