Have been eating at Coles for years on our trips to Canton. Last several times has been disappointing. Today stopped and got hot link sandwich and wife got sliced beef sandwich. My sausage was totally dry from overcooking and shriveled up. Wifes sliced beef was...tougher than the shell on an Armadillo. Hate seeing this since always looked forward to this stop.More

One of the very best barbecue places in area. Fresh bakery huge cookies and items to bring back old memories. I know some drive from Dallas to eat barbecue and they are known to sell out.

I agree with the overpriced comments: $32 for 2 teas, 1 fry, 1 chipped beef sandwich, 2 meat plate w/2 sides and a small very mustardy potato salad. The sauce while not bad reminded me of a very thin sweet and sour sauce. My husband...had the mixed turkey and chipped beef and said the turkey was sorta dry. I’ve never had good turkey from a bbq place, so that was standard for me. Fries and chipped beef were good.More

Stopped here after a visit across the street at a "fruit stand". I wouldn't consider it the worst or the best. It was right for the time we needed to eat.

Got it to go. Brisket was tender and tasty. The jalapeño sausage was great with a slow pleasant after burn.

Full menu not available smh. Sides were Mac and cheese and beans HORRIBLE!!!!! The meat was actually good except small portions and 1/4 of my brisket was all fat. This is a $8 meal I got charged $15 for. So yeah overpriced with horrible sides...I feel like I just donated money to this businessMore

A small place, a little off my usual beaten path. I have driven this route multiple times in the last few years, (from Houston going north) and I have my usual midway point stops. Well, I decided to change it up a bit and stopped...in. Am I ever I glad! Food was fantastic, and the staff were all super friendly. This place will now be one of my usual midway point stops, for the future. I highly recommend it!!More

This doesn’t taste like any Texas barbecue I’ve ever had. Sauce has a sickening sweetness. Meat was good quality but had no taste whatsoever. Brisket was better than the very dry turkey but it’s like it was held in water that took all the flavor...away. Potato salad was mashed potatoes and not much else to it. Green beans had a nasty flavor like straight out of the can with no seasoning. It’s sad when the cornbread was the highlight even if it was very dry too. Threw it away and stopped for a Big Mac.More

Pulled into townlast night for work and my buddy says he knows of some great bbq nearby. Tried it and got stuffed but loved it. Great smoked brisket and sausage. Pretty tasty pecan cobbler for dessert! May have lunch there if still in town tomorrow.
