An excellent dinner- great food and great service. Affordable wine options. Jesse was perfect with food service. Spicy ranch beans and pineapple coleslaw was a nice touch for the family style sides. The ribeye was a nice cut of meat with good seasoning. For the finale- pecan pie. Possibly the best pecan pie I have ever tasted. 14oz ribeye, pie, and half a bottle of wine (split with a colleague) was ~$70 pre tip. I would go back in a heartbeat.

We were there early for a midweek supper. There was no wait as we were there shortly after 5pm.
I got the top sirloin - it was a great piece of meat , perfectly medium rare. My companions got the ribeye and the NY strip, and were both very pleased.
On the downside, the backed potatoes were not steaming hot, nor was the communal pot of beans.
Service was excellent - attentive without being overbearing.

I can’t speak enough about our experience to Cattleman’s. From the moment you set on the road leading here, you know it’s not your typical steakhouse. When you drive through the gates you feel the vibe, almost like an amusement park. Once inside, it’s all-Texan BBQ: brisket, ribs, and steak galore. Staff is very friendly and accommodating (mostly bilingual) and the grounds have so much more to offer than steak: including a zoo, a movie set, and other surprises. Definitely a must if you’re in the El Paso area.

This is the second time I've tried this place and while the food is delicious, their COVID procedures are asinine. If you arrive without your full party, you have to sit in your car until your entire party arrives. I asked if we could wait in the bar area and they said the bar was closed even though they are allowed to be open per the governor's unconstitutional order.

Ordered fried shrimp appetizer to share, cowgirl t-bone cook medium, corn on the cob, and two beers. My wife ordered the same. Bill was $125.
Pros - steak was top notch. Every bite was excellent. Service was excellent.
Cons - sides leave a lot to be desired. Mushrooms, green chilie, and beans come out of a can. You can taste it. Bread is not made fresh. Tastes like store bought dinner rolls. Coleslaw is nothing special. Covid precautions are over the top. Long wait to get in. Restaurant smells weird and looks dingy and out of date. Attractions were closed off when we went. Long drive from NM.

We love this place!! Jazmin was awesome!
The ribeye was perfect. There was little to no fat. Perfectly cooked medium rare.
The filet cut like butter again perfectly cooked medium rare.
The carpeting needs some updating but you can look past that when food is that good.

You got to drive a bit to get there, but its worth it. Not only do you get a great meal, they have a zoo and you can tour the ranch. Get there early as there is a line every night and although they have tons of parking, it gets full. The restaurant itself is like a museum with lots of artifacts and photos. We got there early and was seated where we could watch the sunset. Place is up on a hill so it was very nice. Great selection of steaks. I had the sirloin and it was one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. My friends split a big ribeye and it was also excellent. I get to pick one vegetable with your meal like a baked potato or rice and then baked beans, coleslaw (really good), and one other dish are served all you can eat family style. I also had some mushrooms cooked in wine there were extra, but worth it. Large selection of dessert also, but we were too full to try it. They also have a bar. We had iced tea and you couldn't drink it half way down and they were refilling. Excellent service. A must try.

Let me start by saying I love Cattleman's Steakhouse. This year was the first time my family and I went for Thanksgiving. The "Turkey Dinner" was such a disappointment. At $30 a plate, I got a small spoonful of what tasted like canned yams, and scoop of what tasted like instant mashed potatoes, green bean, cranberries, and shredded turkey. It's Thanksgiving! Give me sliced turkey! The pumpkin pie appeared to be a cheap frozen pie. A very small amount of food that tasted pretty awful.

Simply worth the trip from anywhere! Our meal: BBQ beef cubes and the fire grilled sausage. Dinner: NY Strip and BBQ Beef and Ribs with rice & peppers, green chili strips and mushrooms.
AWESOME!

This is a wonderful family experience. They have fresh steaks that were cooked to perfection. Loved the pineapple coleslaw. After dinner we wandered the hallways to see the history of the place as a Hollywood film location. Very cool. They also have a children’s zoo are and a lake hiking area to walk off your dinner.

Went in looking for a decent meal. Got gun looking thermometer shoved on my face without my consent. Went in and a person NOT wearing a mask told us we would be seated or served without a mask, while the whole dining room was fully seated all the way NO social distancing and NO masks. Or was it just because we are Native? Highly unprofessional and racist.

Great service.. I've been to steakhouses and restaurants in general..It took about 5 minutes to get our beverages and the place was packed almost close to opening time. I ordered the Cowboy which is the 32 oz porterhouse.. man... my son that's in the military ordered the cowboy as well and my wife the ribeye .. my daughter an ice cream shake and after we took a small tour of the place.. the animals the longhorns and such.. it's a pretty cool place to go and great scenery at the back of the restaurant. The only complain was my wife for not ordering her the cowboy which was huuuuge!

I'm sure that everyone has a favorite steakhouse but if you haven't eaten here yet .... 😋 then consider my recommendation.
You may forget about all the other steakhouse restaurants where you've eaten before.
Overall excellent quality value & service over here.

I have dined at Cattleman's at least oncce a year for the past 45+ years, and this is by far the wors dining experience there. The quality of the food has diminished, and the service is not up to par with the prices, and the place. The waitreses treat you worst than if you are in a Wendy's drive thru. The food, especially the baked potatoe (not moist and not wrapped in foil paper) and the cole slaw (runny) is nothing like it was in the past. The ribs were dry and lacked meat, and the brisquet was too fatty. The sour cream tasted like it was mixed with something that made it tatsteles. We drove 48 miles (not to mentioin the extra 5 miles due to the detour), and we were expecing a great dining experience- well, it was not!

My friend and I ate because we had heard how good it is. We ordered steaks and drinks. I ordered a Tequila Sunrise, it was supposed to be a double shot but it did not taste like there was any Tequila in it. Skip the mixed drinks. Also ordered a Tea. It was a very small glass and was never refilled. Not impressed with the service at all.
