We had company from out of town this past month and they wanted a Texas Steak. No choice but to head to Cattleman's. It is a haul out to Fabens, but we took the long drive on Paisanno. We arrived at the restaurant about 1pm on a Sunday, promptly seated, ordered & about 20 minutes later our meal arrived. My... More

I'm stationed in El Paso and have visited Cattleman's three times. A visit there is an experience, and I recommend building it into the end of the day, but leave enough time to walk the ranch and see the animals. The food and portions are excellent, but come with a price; then again, it's an experience, not just a restaurant.... More

My husband and I had been camping in Texas in our camper van for more than a month. We had talked about having a Texas steak but were planning on camping near El Paso for one night and then heading for Arizona. I checked Trip Advisor and almost settled on a restaurant that wasn't really what we wanted. I was... More

We travelled from Phoenix today, this has been on my bucket list for years and we weren't disappointed at all. We were seated promptly, given menus and our drink order was taken. In a few moments our server appeared, took our food order and within 20 minutes appeared with our perfectly grilled steak (we shared), baked potato, corn, beans, pineapple... More

This place lives up to its TripAdvisor reviews. It's a wonderful drive out there and make sure you give yourself lots of time to check out the whole place. The menu actually has a great map with all those features on the back. It is very Texas, especially for this east coaster, and just full of stuff to marvel at.... More

Cattleman's is a must destination for beer eaters, about 30 minutes west of El Paso on I-10. Built on a working ranch (Indian Cliffs) out in the middle of nowhere, it is many-houred destination. The restaurant itself is not fancy and sprawls across many enclosures, but the primary attraction is first rate beef (I had a great ribeye) of Texas-sized... More

This is a must visit location if you are ever in the El Paso area. Everything from the scenery to the ranch staff are wonderful. Great selection of steaks with all the fixing which are always cooked prefectly. You'll never go away hungry! I Do recommend visiting before sunset.

Being a Texan, it us a bold statement when I say they have the best steaks ever. I brought a couple of business partner's me to the restaurant. We all had various cuts of steaks. They told me this was the best steak they'd had in their lives and they are in their forties. So when I say this place... More

We were traveling through Texas and wanted to try a ranch style steakhouse - after all, Texas is beef country! Beautiful scenery, you can walk the grounds and see all kinds of animals, perfect for kids with the petting zoo and hayrides. Beautiful peacocks everywhere. The restaurant was huge and the steaks just as huge. Very good, simple menu and... More
