Maybe this was an off day (as I see the place is really busy) but during our visit our pancakes were still "doughy". we sent them back and it took a really long time to get new ones. No offer for a discount was given.
I would go here many times a month and the food was always delicious. From the bacon cheese burger to the crispy taco salad bowl all washed down with perfect sweet tea!!! All brought to your table by a great friendly waitress. I highly recommend...going here for any meal. So sad I had to move due to a new job.More
Ya'll Come Back Cafe is just that a "Hole in the Wall" place that serves delicious downhome cooking...The chicken fried steak, tender moist didn't need a knife to cut it...Oh, the salad bar is perfect wouldn't change a thing...Let's don't forget the pies..

Local dive cafe serving a good breakfast, good burgers and good catfish etc........now for the cold hard truth. The entire place is filthy dirty. Stay out of the restrooms and stay far away from the salad bar. Overlook the chipped plates and edge worn tea...glasses and if your coffee cup comes to you looking like it was used already its because...it probably was...........Kadence is your best bet for a server.........good luck.......More
This place has been packed the several times we have come by it. Usually, that is a good sign. Not this time. We stopped for lunch while going thru the area. We both got the lunch specials. She got the beef stroganoff, I got the...chicken fried steak. Niehter of our main courses were hot, and the stroganoff looked pretty greasy. They were out of fried okra and offered fried squash as a substitute. It was hot. We both got mashed potatoes and gravy, warm at best, and I got the purple hull peas which tasted like they had been poured into a pan with just liquid smoke.
Service was fairly quick, but not particularly friendly as several people have mentioned. It was quite obvious that they cater to the locals.
I don't think that we will be stopping there again.More
If you grew up in a small southern town, you know what to expect from your neighbourhood café and this place does not disappoint: egg-and-meat breakfast options, lunch specials, quick coffee refills, and homemade pies. We have been several times and the service has a;ways...been good, the place clean, the restrooms tiny, and the food good - nothing fancy, but consistent. Some people might be turned away from the staff (most have been there forever and feel free to joke around with the regulars, so a newbie might see them as rude) or the parking lot (not paved, and it does rain in East Texas), but if you want a hot meal, good iced tea, and a no-fuss atmosphere, this is a perfect stop.More
