Trattoria Lisina doesn't disappoint at all. From the beautiful decor, to the attention to detail by the servers. Dishes are split nicely in the kitchen, which allows more items to be selected and enjoyed by diners. Quality is spot on. Perfectly seasoned soups, meatballs, calamari, and steaks....everything is so very good! Oh, and the wine list....something to enjoy! Servers are... More

We initially found this place which is way back in the sticks, a few years ago while winery tasting. The place rose up in the woods like the Magic Kingdom! The grounds and building are just beautiful, reminiscent of a Tuscany estate. The food genuine Italian and superb, no Olive Garden here!. Service was also great, knowlegable and professional wait... I stumbled on this place while driving by for work. What a lovely setting away from the hustle and bustle. Winery located next door. We just ordered meatballs and a pizza and took it outside to eat. Can't wait to come back and eat an entire dinner. The meatballs are delish-marinara sauce is so yummy. The pizza was not what... More

The fried calamari was outstanding and we are not easily impressed with this. Very tender and fresh! Beet salad was not too impressive. The OSO Buso was amazing!!! The 2 of us shared this and it was plenty. Very tender and flavor was amazing.

First visit. Beautiful drive SW of Austin. Arrived with high expectations given the reviews. (1) one guest ordered a "Cadillac marguerita". Bartender didn't know how to make--then came by 5 minutes later to say they had no Grand Marnier (2) ordered both the ravioli and risottos specialities only to be told later they were "sold out" of those and (3)... Spent the day with friends in the Texas Hill Country visiting local wineries. We decided to grab a bite to eat and ended up at Trattoria Lisina. What a wonderful surprise. Great ambiance, service and food. Will be back!

Probably one of the poorest run restarants around. We literally walked in at 5:25 it was almost completely empty and they said the wait was until 8:15. They said they had a lot of reservations in the next 2 hours. They pull this crap all the time and not once out of the 50 times we have been there has... More

This is always on our go to list when we are in the Austin area. It is about 30 minutes from Austin and worth the drive. We have never been dissappointed by any of the specials or menu offered items. If the food alone is not enough to convince you to make the drive the Tuscan atmosphere and service here... More

Why fly to Italy when you can eat here. The scenery is just as pretty and the exchange rate is better! The food-let's just say that of the two dozen times we've been to Italy no where compared to the food at Trattoria Lisina. One exception-the pizza in Venice (oddly enough) is exceptional and better than here.

New Year's evening dinner - 7 people. As good a meal as one Gould expectation find in this "pretty south" suburb of Austin and worth the trip. Food is diverse, well prepared. Service is friendly. Go and see the winery on the property.
