When we have birthdays, anniversaries or other special occasions to celebrate, we always go to Trattoria Lisina. The food is like being in Italy (been there several times-Italy that is!) The wine selections are all local from the neighboring vineyard, but very good for NOT being Italian. The gelato is the real deal though.

My wife and I have lived in Italy And Damian's Restaurant is the BEST. It needs Messina Hof Wine to compliment his wonderful selections. Osso Buco is amazing The Duck was perfect with our Nero D' Avola Wonderful Ambience

Very nice restaurant with great food. Good selection on the menu and excellent service. If you are in the area try it out. Reserve a table first though as it gets very busy and the carpark gets filled up fast. Found it a little noisy in there and hard to hear everyone at the table when a conversation was going... More

Everything's big in Texas! This restaurant is adjacent to a vineyard on a large ranch in Driftwood. We walked as far inside as we had outside to get to our table. The bread is very tasty, a great start to a meal that included Damian's award winning Caesar salad. We also had artichoke & Parmigiano fritters (hot out of the... More

I've been to Trattoria Lisina of several occasions and this most recent visit was just as delightful as the previous occasions. This restaurant has a great wine selection and the menu items should satisfy any appetite. I particularly like to osso bucco.

This place is a cool Tuscany styled place with some really pretty grounds. Right across from a field of grapes. Make reservations as it does get crowded. It is a big place and is a little on the loud side. We have been there three times and have always enjoyed our food and experience.

Dined here last weekend while vacationing and visiting family near Austin. Experienced started with sitting at counter and able to watch and interact with the chief and cooked while they prepared our meal. What a hoot. I had the lamb chops, mashed potatoes and an egg plant veggie dish. I am very picky about my lamb chops because I was... More

My sisters and I visited this lovely restaurant for a light lunch before doing wine tastings at Dutchman's next door. It was lovely from start to finish. As you drive up the drive you have grape vines on the right and the restaurant on the left. Inside is a surprisingly large restaurant beautifully decorated in a Tuscan style. The ambiance... More

Tucked away in the beautiful Central Texas countryside about five minutes from the Salt Lick, Trattoria is well worth the drive. The restaurant is classy but not stuffy, spacious but not cavernous. The service is excellent and the food outstanding (we recommend order several different dishes and then eating family style). There is a playground under the trees outside the... More
