There were plenty of options on how the tasty brisket is grilled/served. The sausages seemed to be their speciality and they were very tasty. Turkey was also good but the ribs could've been better. The staff was very nice and the place really looked/feeled like an authentic TX BBQ.

The Salt Lick BBQ in Driftwood does not need my review to draw the crowds in. You will get great BBQ in a great setting with great service. I know I will catch flack for this but this is very generic BBQ which lacks personality. No depth of flavor. It is tough to beat the atmosphere here. BBQ and food was overall fantastic. BBQ sauce was a bit creamy for my taste, but a great place to go. If you're taking an out of towner for some TX BBQ, goto Salt Lick.

With the reviews we had read we rocked up expecting better than we had experienced in the previous 3 weeks of our trip. Unfortunately as good as it was it did not better a Memphis BBQ meal. The coleslaw was tasteless, the beans quite plain, the brisket a bit dry but the sausage and pork ribs were the redeeming cuts.... More

We've eaten here on and off for more than 12 years and if anything, I think the ribs may be even better now than before.
