Our visit was a couples night out. We were disappointed in the food but the service was horrible. We repeated our bar order at least four times and then received four WATERS! The food was okay at best. I will search for a different Mexican food restaurant next time I'm in the area.

Visited for the first time on a Sunday after local churches all let out. Was super crowded (a good sign). Ordered the Barbacoa. Was tasty, not greasy or fatty at all, and good portion size. Came with three huge home-made flour tortillas (YUM). Service was just decent, nothing special. Food was very good. Will definitely return. Was a bit noisy... More

There are too many good Mexican restaurants in the Houston's Bay Area to waste your time and money at Los Ramirez. Prices are cheap and so is the quality of food. This was my 2nd visit--the first was to their sister restaurant of the same name in Clear Lake, which was equally bad. But I was next door to the... More

We went for the first time on a Friday night so it was very busy.. The food is inexpensive and satisfactory for the price..they have an extended happy hour which many of the customers were enjoying. Many families.

Nasty food. Do not waste your time or money. No taste & my chicken blanco tasted like it was full of fat....my second time & last time to ever eat here. We ordered it for lunch & I threw my plate in the trash.

I have been to this restaurant two times. I did not write a review the first time because I wanted to give them a 2nd chance. I gave them a 2nd chance. I won't give them a 3rd chance. Quite simply, I would not recommend this place to friends as a place to go for good tex-mex. The food lacks... More

Great family restaurant. Food is good and really inexpensive. Enchiladas, tacos al carbon, tamales are all really good. Margaritas are $1.75 during happy hour. This is a great neighborhood restaurant that caters to families.

I really enjoyed my meal. The other two people in my party did not really like their meals that were just standard dishes. I always like to order a specialty-type plate so I got the carne guasada which was really good...as was the house margarita. I also really liked their green sauce!

We visit Los Ramirez 3-4 times per month usually on Wednesday night (family night at our house), when most of our kids and stop by. We have gone with as few as four people and as many as sixteen. Doesn't matter, service is always quick, attentive and never have we had a waiter with a poor attitude. The food is... More
