We are from the North-east so we know what a cheesesteak should be. This place serves the best cheesesteak we've had since we left home. It's especially good with the onions/mushrooms with American and Provolone cheeses. A side of sweet potato fries is the perfect...side. Sadly, we went by only 2 days ago and it was closed. Hope this isn't permanent!!!More
I love the cheese steaks here. There have been very few places outside of PA that have had worthwhile cheese steaks and this is one of those places. I have been here several times in the past year and never disappointed. Really good.
I know this is a little harsh but both my husband and I did not like the Philly. My husband couldn't even finish his. The meat was way overcooked to the point of tasting burnt and the fries were nothing special. We would not eat...here again. They do allow BYOB and the restaurant itself was clean and had plenty of space but unfortunately the food was just not good.More
I drove around looking for an asian restaurant that I saw on TA but because of road construction I never found it and was so mad by the time I stumbled upon this place I just decided this would be "good enough". I'm sure glad...I didnt find that asian place! I lucked out and landed here on a Wednesday when the special is the Mushroom Cheesesteak. I LOVE mushrooms! The special comes with fries and a drink and it was ...$7.50 I think...Anyways, I took the food to-go and it was still hot when i got back to my hotel with it. In fact, I scorched my tongue on the sandwich and had to let it cool while I ate some of the fries. The fries were edible but not great, the Philly sauce made them better. But that sandwich...OMG, It was loaded with meat and shrooms with just enough onions for taste (I was afraid it would be mostly onions) and the cheese was so well blended in the sandwich it was just like a light cheese flavored cream dripping from the meat. The sandwich was a little salty for me, but I rarely use salt and i'm sure its hard to keep it from being bland for most folks without adding a little salt. Final answer, it was so good, I'm considering going back tomorrow. Definitely recommend.More
We decided to try this new place since it is next door to our favorite hamburger joint (RG's). The only other cheesesteak sandwich I've ever had was in Philadelphia, and it was very good. So this time, I ordered a sandwich with nothing but steak...and cheesewhiz. My wife ordered the special of the day which was a pizza philly. We both ordered sweet potato fries. I was eager to see if it was good with cheesewhiz. It seemed like it took a little too long to get our order, but it was worth the wait. The owner brought it out herself. She noticed we didn't have the house sauce (which she said was secret, but did say it was mustard based). She was very nice as was everyone there. Both our sandwiches were awesome, and the sweet potato fries were probably the best we've ever had. We both only got the 6 inch sandwich, and it's a good thing, because we couldn't have eaten any more. They have other options on their menu such as hotdogs, salads, wraps, etc. We will definitely go back.More
We loved this place! Share the fries there are plenty! I got the mushroom philly with provolone cheese. It was really good! I tried the ophilly sauce on it and it really complemented the meat! Not a chain its a Mom and Pop place but...it was really good!More
