I can't believe I've lived in Dallas this long and am just now eating here. FANTASTIC: atmosphere, service, food. Unreal. These people have it down. We had escargot and the brie soup for starters OMG delicious. Fresh bread and butter accompanies. Nice. We each had...steak: one Diane and one with frites (so fresh and crispy!). the seasoning on the steak made it super tender and tasty. The sauce! It was so freaking good I am still thinking about it. Get here if you can. The prices are reasonable and you get a lot of food. Terrific wait staff with dry sense of humor----so fun!More

This little place doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's ALL French on the inside! Live piano, fantastic food and beverage choices. Free valet too so you don't have to find your own parking spot on this very busy street.

We have always visited St. Martin’s Wine Bistro when we are in Dallas but I don’t know that we’ll be back. They do have a wonderful wine list and the food was good, not as good as in the past but good. The service was...lackluster as our server was experiencing problems with her knees and shared her “problem” with us while providing slow service. The restaurant was also loud, there was a baby in the restaurant and parents of that baby changed that baby in the short hallway by the restrooms right by our table while staff walked around them. This is not the type of restaurant where I expect that to happen.More

The salads were a disappointment, dressing for Cesar was tasteless. On the other hand, the dinner was absolutely phenomenal!!!

Saint Martins is a Dallas classic for elegant dining. We have been regulars for a couple of decades and were so disappointed tonight that tons of others weren’t sharing in the amazing experience. Live music, Brie Bisque and Lobster Thermidor... does it get better? No....It doesn’t.More

This is as close to being in France that you wille ever get in Texas. Menu has several French cuisine classics. Appitizers include escargots, tartare and mussels. All delicious. The main courses (which the Americans strangely call entrées) include boeuf bourgignon which was excellent! Excellent...wine list. The mousse au chocolat was awesome. Decor... very French! Were there with the family, including two grand children (5 and 7). Everybody enjoyed it, even the kids!More

Party of four, after a wedding on a Saturday night. Romantic, quiet, with a fabulous pianist. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. French cuisine prepared perfectly. Nice wine list. Would absolutely go back and will recommend to friends. Too bad we live almost 1000 miles...away. I would be a regular.More

If I was going to propose again, assuming I remembered how, I would do it here. Dining here was a wonderful experience. When we walked through the door I suddenly was not sure I was in Dallas or in the "old town" of Geneve. Saint...Martin's captures the atmosphere of old school fine dining and old world charm -- without pretension. It has a wonderfully cozy atmosphere. The service and geniality of the staff was as if we were long time patrons. The food was excellent. We had salmon and veal and both were good choices. The wine selection was excellent and they had a lot of choices reasonably priced. The location is off what I would call the Dallas "beaten path". I highly recommend it and we will be returning whenever attending a function in downtown Dallas. By the way, if you are planning to propose there, I suggest the 4-top in the alcove at the back of the dining room at the end of the bar. It's where we sat, holding hands and remembering the decades of trips to similar restaurant finds from New York to Prague and the long and winding adventure marriage is. That kind of evening had to end with one of Saint Martin's souffles. I recommend the chocolate.More

This year, we found ourselves celebrating Thanksgiving by ourselves. Cooking a feast for two seemed like too much effort. I discovered the Thanksgiving dinner offered at St. Martin's Wine Bistro. The meal exceeded our expectations. We were warmly greeted at the door and seated immediately....Our waiter arrived promptly and was attentive throughout the meal. Wonderful bread, amazing brie/champagne soup. Our entrees were excellent. I enjoyed a lovely glass of wine with my meal. Hats off to St. Martin's Wine Bistro. And we enjoyed the subtle piano music being played in the background. We will be back to celebrate the next time we have a special occasion.More

I'd say business casual is OK. I was allowed in wearing very simple attire. I wore a pair of kaki pants, and a dress shirt, maybe even a tie. There weren't any really requirements that I remember. Of course you must... More

St. Martin's is strictly a restaurant. I think that you are thinking of Hotel St. Germaine which is over on Maple Avenue. I have eaten at St. Germaine, but I have never stayed there.
