Came in for a steak...left happy Was in the in the mood for a good steak and wasn’t in the looking to put down a months rent, so after a little research Knife seemed like the perfect place to accomplish that goal. I decided to...go ‘New School’ and went with the 10oz Flat Iron & the creamed spinach. The steak was seasoned fantastically, very juicy, and cooked exactly as requested. The spinach I was given was enough to feed a family of 4 (but considering the price I wasn’t mad about the portion size given). An prior to my food arriving I was offered a complimentary dish of crudités and a selection of fresh baked breads. The service staff here is great and are very attentive, I never felt like I had to search for my server and I also didn’t feel like I was being hovered over the entire time either. Pro Tip: MAKE A RESERVATION! I got lucky and was able to sit down as a walk-in, but the area by the bar is first come first served.More

I was expecting more from Knife based on review in D Magazine. We have visited most of the Dallas Steakhouses and I put this one middle of the pack. I think being in a hotel it looses some ambience. 10oz Filet presentation was boring and...had okay flavor, not good or great. Well made Old Fashion and the MAC and Cheese was delicious. Overall good service. Appeared to have good COVID corrective actions. Just needed a more memorable steak.More

Top notch restaurant in the Highland. The service was professional-attentive but not intrusive. Oysters were fresh and delicious. Salads were crisp and well seasoned. We split the risotto and it was near perfection.

I was staying at the Hilton Highland Curio Hotel for 3 days and had breakfast there twice. I had the omelette both days and asked for Salsa instead of Tabasco and the salsa they brought was excellent. It was a light brown, creamy, smokey and...spicy salsa. I could have handled it if it had been spicier, but I'm sure they make it so most people can handle it. The price for the 2-egg omelette was too high, but I was glad it was only a 2-egg omelette, as it was the perfect amount of food. I had a voucher for $18.00, so that made the total bill quite affordable. I ate dinner the first night at the bar, ordering from the Knife menu and although they had a handful of appetizers, the entree's were huge and all of the sides were family size "a la carte" style, which is way too much food for me. I ordered the Pepper Crusted Tuna Steak with 3 Salsa's and I was pleased to see that one of the salsa's was the one I had at breakfast. The tuna and salsa's were delicious, although the steak was a bit thin. I was hoping for a 1/2" to 1" thick piece, as it was about a 1/4" thick. they had steak tartar, tuna tartar, meatballs and a few other appetizers, but it would have been nice to have been able to buy a smaller steak and a couple of 1/2 orders of sides. I would love to have tried one of their dry aged steaks. I will go back, but I will take someone with me to help eat it all.More

Invited by a vendor to meet for a weekday happy hour. Not crowded at all. It's in the lobby of The Highland Hotel and within walking distance of SMU. You must have the bacon flight with bacon jam! Bacon from around the world. Only 5...slices but still plenty to share. Atmosphere is business-y and could lean toward romantic if the night is right. Cool kitchen where you can watch them prepare your dinner.More

The dry aged steak was amazing! The bacon taster appetizer was good, the bacon jam was awesome! Did not care for the crab fries, but everything else was top shelf!

Delicious dinner! Our waiter was great and the food was outstanding. Gather you $$$ and enjoy! Not quiet and romantic spot if that is what you want ... go for the food and experience. Cocktails are awesome as well. Would not recommend taking children here.

We visited Knife Dallas with a few friends for a date night, it did not disappoint! They have a modern/classic menu focusing on steaks but with options for non-Red meat eaters. The appetizer selection and steak list is quite impressive while not being overwhelming. And...compared to other large cities we have visited the menu was quite economic. 100% recommend you do a dinner at Knife Dallas.More

Knife is a great place tucked in the Highland Hotel. It has a cool retro vibe, great service and a great menu offering. Our party shared the tuna tartare, avocado fries, wedge salads and truffle pasta and the 90 day aged ribeye. Honestly the only...thing I did not like was the steak. I know, but it just wasn’t my thing. We ordered medium rare but I thought it was chewy and nothing special. Would definitely come back here but might try seafood next time.More

Prices are very expensive, but the steaks are delicious. Google image "Knife Dallas Menu" and you will see people have taken photos of the menus where you can see prices.
