Small, yet very comfortable establishment. Stylish. Started the dinner with the appetizer portion of the mussels, with the most incredible fries on top. Beyond fantastic. Dinner was the drum fish for me with charred okra and a tomato "gravy". Absolutely wonderful. My dinner companion had the scallops, which were not shared with me. She saved them for herself. I passed... More

I've been to Salum 4-5 times and the first word that comes to mind to describe it is "consistent". The menu is "New American" and always seasonally appropriate. On this visit, we had the Mussels, House Salad and Caprese Salad and the Pumpkin Ravioli. The food was fresh, crisp, savory and very good. I found the Ravioli innovative and very... More

Abraham Salum has been turning out fabulously prepared and beautifully presented since the day he opened. There is a great local following and for good reason. I think this is some of the best food in the city. The dining room is beautifully decorated with subtle luxury, the wine list is interesting and not stupidly overpriced, the staff is well... More

I'm not sure how we chose this restaurant but glad we did. Food was fresh and tasty and staff was very helpful with choices and menu descriptions.

We went to Salum during restaurant week and enjoyed a superb 3-course dinner. We ordered the Texas goat cheese, which was a delicious combination of soft cheese, olive oil, garlic, and crisp toasts that was rich and out of this world. I ordered trout, and it is hard to overstate how much it melts in the mouth! Served covered in... More

the owner is wonderful, the cream cheese stuffed Okra-OVER. THE. TOP. Tenderloin was beautifully seasoned and plated. My first dirty martini was amazing, the second one doesn't ever go down as smooth. Bread Pudding - DONT MISS IT

Salum is an incredible find. In an already crowded DFW restaurant scene this jewel shines very brightly indeed. Ambiance is warm and staff exceptionally (but not overly) friendly. But hey it’s all about the food. And the food sparkles. I started with the soup of the day which was cream of vegetable and it was wonderful. Then chose the grouper,... More

The atmosphere for a business meeting is great. No loud music piped in and they were willing to accommodate a large party for dinner. The food was excellent and the portions are a good size. I had the lamb and it was excellent. There is good selection for wine by the bottle, the only negative I can say is it... More

We went for my birthday. Ben was our wait person. With great suggestions. Had goat cheese Appetizer and capresse salad. Good choices for beginning. Then sea scallops and halibut. All great choices. Service and were fantastic.
