I ordered blackened trout. The fish was over-cooked and not so tasty. My kid order a shrimp gumbo and she said it was not so good compared with what she had before in New Orleans. Service was good though.

I had the privilege of eating here with my daughter for her birthday. The service was great and they had many options on the menu. The waitress was very sweet and make wonderful suggestions. The decor was fun and they had live music, also.

We came here because of the crawfish. There were to be ready anytime at 5pm, well two hours later we decided to just get them to go. They were terrible, had no flavor what so ever. The "regular" food however was outstanding (since the crawfish wasn't ready we ordered from the menu) Blackened catfish with a cream sauce over dirty... More

Stopped here for lunch. The service was quick and courteous. The food was great as well. I had the Fried Catfish Atchafalaya which is a piece of Catfish covered in Shrimp Etouffee' over Dirty Rice. It was a good portion and nicely flavored. The gumbo was also rich and hearty. The Po Boys are large! Easily enough for a second... More

Went for lunch this time and the lunch specials looked delicious, but I couldn't not have their delicious shrimp and cheesy grits -- sinful, but oh, so good. We ate outside on the patio which was very enjoyable. My dining companion pronounced his shrimp po'boy great. Our waiter was attentive and helpful. What more could you ask for?

Food was excellent and staff was very accommodation and helpful, we took our son with severe food allergies and the waitress was very helpful in getting his meal prepared a certain way and making sure that there was no cross contamination.

I have been here twice and loved both times I have gone. I always get the shrimp and grits with satisfaction. You can't go wrong with this place.

We have been Alligator Cafe fans from the VERY beginning. Was very happy after the move that the food was even better in the new kitchen. But, over the last 2-3 visits the overall experience just seems to have been allowed to slip. The taste, attention to detail, service, just is not up to past standards. It is not anything... More

A great little place with a decent beer list and enough good ol' creole cooking to satisfy anyone. Ribs and boudin balls are a must. The jambalaya was a big portion, I'm eating it now for lunch. The good times just keep coming. To my dismay they are Closed Monday's.

Thank David D
