Although it is not close to home, my wife and I wind up there often when we’re in DALLAS. The food is consistently good, and it is one of the few restaurants that does Osso Buco correctly - with veal. Adelmo recommended a wine last...week that was reasonably priced and we thought it was well worth it. The service is good as well. My only complaint is that it can get a little loud when busy which makes it hard for this old geezer to hear the conversation.More

Avoid. Terrible service (waited over 60 minutes for entres after appetizers), and not even average food. Not sure what was happening in the kitchen, but we finally had to ask if there was a problem when the waitress came to the table to apologize and...say food would come soon, four times. Then, a very overweight, older man, came and I jokingly asked if the chef left, and they said he was sick, and they were down a cook. He then yelled at me for even asking about how long it was taking to get food, as their food is made to order. It was like a scene out of Hell’s Kitchen. The chef’s mother came to say her son was out sick and food will come. We stayed 1 hour 50 minutes, and then left at 10:05pm to get some food at Maggiano’s before it closed. Only food we managed to get was the fried calamari, burrata, and bread. All were not good. Not sure why they thought they could treat patrons like this.More

We take all criticism seriously, whether good or bad. We can assure you that your experience was not exemplary of our service. As it happened, after your appetizers were served, your order was miscued in the kitchen, and add to this , the fact that...More

This was our first visit, referred by a trip advisor search. By the time we left the restaurant we had added it to our list of favorite places in Dallas for top-notch food and service in a pleasant setting. Our server was Semiha U, and...she was pleasant and efficient, with a delightful personality. The menu and wine list were quite extensive. I chose minestrone soup and Bolognese Tagliatelle. Both were plentiful, the soup was some of the tastiest I have tasted in Dallas, and loaded with veggies. The Bolognese was nothing short of mouth wateringly fantastic, so good I know we will be back often. My wife had the mushrooms stuffed with Italian sausage and a Caesar salad. She raves about the mushrooms, so I tried one-they were absolutely fantastic. The mushroom dish was so large that my wife had Semiha cancel the Caesar salad. We will definitely be back again and again.More

Expecting a great meal as so many at the former location, I was disappointed as something was lost in the move. Perhaps it is the larger space and loss of intimacy. The food was acceptable, the service very average and not bad, just a let...down.More

We have been dining at Adelmo’s when we are in Dallas for about 30 years. Original tiny location in the Knox-Henderson area had great food, but little ambience. About a year ago, they moved to a much nicer location in the Lovers-Inwood area. The restaurant...is beautiful. The service is impeccable. The food is still wonderful—classic Italian dishes. Reservations recommended unless you go early—especially on weekends!More

The food was fabulous. The service was even better. The atmosphere was very calming and beautiful. We needed to make early (5:00 pm) reservations because we were going to go see Hamilton and everyone was told to get there early. When I called for reservations...I told them this. When we arrived, they were ready for us and ready to take our orders as soon as we knew them. Then the food came out quickly and very yummy. We would recommend to all.More

A nice and not overly priced wine list. Great food, especially the fish specials. Service is most excellent.

My eggplant was undercooked. The other couple we were there with had to send one meal back as it came out lukewarm. The flavors were good but given the rest it wasn't a good first impression.

We found Adelmo's by accident. It was across the street from where we had intended to go. We just walked over as a quick and close alternative. What a pleasant accident. We found the service and food excellent. From the moment we walked in we...felt welcome. All four of us had different dishes and we were all pleased with our choices. The next time we go back I assure you it will be intentional.More

We had lunch with a close friend and it was one of the best meals we have ever enjoyed. The minestrone soup was outstanding. The stuffed mushroom appetizer was outstanding. and the Rigatoni Bolognese Classico was as good as the best I have ever eaten....Their house wines, especially the Merlot were also outstanding.More
