My overall favorite restaurant in Dallas. The food here isn't nauseatingly creamy and over-seasoned like at most Indian places. It's different in a very positive way.

This vegetarian buffet is run by the Hare Krishna Temple. They offer all vegetarian and mostly vegan food for a very decent price. They also give food away to the needy, which is really honorable and decent in my book. Their food is not the typical Indian food like you get in most restaurants, but it is delicious. The service... Buffet of vegan food. Very good and plentiful with dessert included in the price (we were stuffed and did not get any). Vegan lasagna was really good and there were lots of other choices - some very spicy.

When we arrived at the beautiful temple we were awed and then when we started down the buffet line (which changes daily) and salad bar we were even more awed. The food was fresh, perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. Every staff member we came in contact with was most gracious. We dined with two of our friends who are carnivores... More

This is hands down the best place to eat in Dallas! It's all vegetarian/vegan yummy Indian food. It's nested inside of a beautiful temple. You can feel the positive vibrations within the ambience and taste it in the food. The people who work here are very nice as well.

The artist I recorded with is vegetarian! We didn't have much choices on a Sunday afternoon but this place was great! Everything I tasted was so good! Great price! Will be coming back and I'm not vegetarian!

It is very interesting. It has changed a bit since I last visited. It used to be donation based, but we were charged for 3 even though one in our group decided not to eat anything besides a few tomatoes. I liked my food, to notch vegan with Indian flavor.

The neighborhood may be a little far flung for some diners, but worth the trip. You enter via a buffet line which is small, but packed with fresh selections and an awesome variety of homemade breads and as many papadums as you can eat. They had filling vegetarian lasagna and other tasty selections with a tremendous salad bar. The tamarind... More

This place serves vegetarian Indian cuisine. We ate in a charming courtyard but the place was a little confusing since it was our first visit. There is a parking lot in the back. The "main" entrance is marked by a covered door. It is not in bigger part of the building. There were worship services in process in another part... More

Kalachandji's tops my list of fun places to take friends. Their vegetarian buffet is vegan and gluten-free friendly and always delicious. As an added bonus, the traditional Indian music that plays in the background is kept at a low level so everyone at the table can hold a conversation whiteout yelling at each other to be heard--one of my major beefs...
