Nice atmosphere. Food is traditional and yummy. Angel was a really nice waiter. Very polite and nice. I ordered just a mushroom appetizer and it was plenty. Their salad was also yummy.

Family atmosphere and fabulous food. Great service and friendly staff! Would definitely eat there again and bring my family. Loved it!!! They serve cozy Italian.
We decided to give Roman Cucina a try after reading their reviews on TA. We arrived early (5 pm) on a Friday night after calling and talking to the restaurant as they do fill up. We were glad we did! It was full by 5:30....I had a glass of their house chianti wine and my husband had one of their draft beers which was served with really good bread. For appetizers, I had the Italian wedding soup and my husband had the house salad - both were OK. I wished they had more than 1 choice of soup though. I ordered the lasagna and my husband had the pesto linguini with chicken. Both meals were very large portions ( I had enough for another meal the following day) and tasted good. For dessert, we split the cannoli and spumoni ice cream. I've eaten at several places in NYC that have claimed to have the best cannoli and theirs fair in comparison to the one I had at Roma Cucina - delicious! I loved the spumoni ice cream as well as it is difficult to find in a grocery store, let alone in a restaurant so it was a real treat! Our server was polite and attentive. We loved the Italian vibe of the restaurant with "old school" Sinatra, Elvis, and Rat pack music playing and their photos all over the restaurant - even in the restrooms. We will probably return to try some of their other dishes. Prices were extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity we received. Give it a try!More
Super friendly staff. For starters we got the bruschetta. It was some of the best I’ve had! Amazing. The chicken Alfredo was delicious! Will definitely be back!

Traveling on business and a group of us stop in for dinner. Food was excellent and service was nothing short of outstanding! We ended up dining at this location three time before traveling out of the area. This is a must try!
This was a nice dinner. I’m traveling for work and was looking for an Italian restaurant, and this was the choice so I’m happy with it. I can’t say it was by far the best or worst I’ve ever had, but it was good. I...had the Italian Wedding soup, which was very hot and good, then had penne pasta with a rose cream sauce and Italian sausage in it. I will look at other Italian options when I come back to Dallas, but wouldn’t mind coming back here either.More
Went to Roman Cucina after read about being rated in top 10 restaurants in Richardson. Decor , patio and bar was great but felt that food was average. Huge quantity and fantastic service but unfortunately food was not exceptional.
Always great. I like the Pasta less dishes. Shrimp is also good. Chicken Milanese good too with Pesto. All around has been good. The Salad is also good. Comes with hot bread. Will return
My first visit ever here was absolutely stellar. Very friendly greeting upon entering; courteous server after being seated. An indication to me of what was in store - the upholstered booth seats were all shiny & polished & clean; indicative to me of care and...attention to detail. I ordered their pasta bolognese - offered with choice of penne, spaghetti or fettuccine; nice portion size and very delicious. I cleaned the plate. This entree was served with a house salad (as well as warm bread to kick things off). Multiple servers were continually walking by and unobstrusively observing how I was doing throughout my meal; great service. To top things off, they were playing Rat Pack and Elvis music - how can you beat that? Will have to try their desserts next visit. They also offer outdoor covered seating. Highly recommend.More
Grade: A. Good: house salad was very nice, Italian wedding soup was amazing, and the lasagna bolognese was great. Bad: they started off the meal with some extremely burnt house bread. I would rather they have not given us any bread at all the bread...was so burnt... hard as a rock with literal burnt flavor. I'm glad I stayed around for the rest.More
Had dinner with a friend. The service was great. The portions were huge and prices are reasonable. The bread is fresh-dip it in olive oil once it arrives. I had a hard time choosing what to order! Split of bottle of Rubesto Montepulciano that went...well with the pasta dish.More
Rolled into town for some car shopping and decided to treat ourselves to a victory dinner. Loved the cozy atmosphere and delicious food. Bonus was half off all bottles of wine - beautiful Italian Chianti. This place will definitely be on my list for the...next Dallas trip!!!More
Reminds me of the classic “Downtown” Italian restaurants, great food a little noisy and lots of great photos displayed on all walls. Fun place to bring friends! Reasonable beverage prices too.
This is a great neighborhood Italian restaurant! We happened upon it about 3 years ago and have never been disappointed. The wait staff are mostly teens, but they are incredibly well trained. Very reasonable cocktail and wine prices. Their wines by the glass are generally...priced at $6.00, $8.00 and $11.00. Bottle prices are good too. Their pasta dishes are all fantastic, and the portion sizes are huge. They come with a house salad that is always cold, crisp and dressed just right. Excellent chicken parm too. A regular stop for whenever we're thinking Italian!More
