Extremely disappointing experience with The Grape. We drove from the suburbs (Flower Mound) to try this place and were only frustrated upon leaving. Before our meals even made it to the table, our waiter spilled a full glass of red wine all over my phone, my wallet, my shirt and my shorts. It was obviously an accident, and while I... More

My wife and I just had a date night at The Grape and it's great for a romantic night out. The dining areas are intimate and dimly lit, the service is top notch and the food is excellent (as was our Chilean wine). They have complimentary valet parking, too, which is good since parking can be an issue in the... More

Had been there in years past. Local friends still recommended it, so we went. Classic, but not imaginative (wouldn't they get bored after all these years?) It was Ok. Expensive tenderloin--at that price, should have been better quality meat. Service from someone who had a lot of job security (she explained) and who didn't feel the need to make us... More

A family dinner at Grape was a delectable experience. This small restaurant/bistro is clearly a local favorite, and we could see why. Slightly quirky decor, lively but not loud. The menu had an interesting variety of offerings, which change monthly, as well as daily specials. Everything was well prepared and attractively presented. We tried the ribbons of pasta with tiny... This was our second visit to The Grape, a return that was necessitated by the excellent service and fine wines we enjoyed on our first visit one year ago. I am delighted to report that there has been no change in service, food quality or delicious wines since the last time we were there. The restaurant was full (reservations are... More

We have lived in Dallas since '71 and The Grape never disappoints. We dined with friends who are also long time residents who also felt the same vibes. Mushroom soup is still a winner. The salads, House with lemon vinaigrette was delicious. Our entrees were well constructed with accompanying sides making for a nice evening out. Ambiance is warm. We... More

My friend took me to The Grape for my birthday. I wish I had a Birthday once a week. The atmosphere was charming, quaint and adorable. The food was BEYOND good. If you go you HAVE to have the mushroom soup. Sounds boring but OMG it is the best I've ever had!! And the filet mignon was like butter!!! I'm... More

This is one of my favorite places to eat. They change their menu monthly so you always get a variety of tasty dishes. You must also go on burger night Sunday and Monday's, it is not on the menu; just ask you will not be disappointed. Also, if you like mushroom soup I believe they make the best I have... More

I went here with my roommate and her family and I ordered the pasta carbonara. It is one of the single best dishes I have eaten in this city in the year I have lived in Dallas. Highly recommend. I have also been here for brunch, which is very yummy too!

Showing up for bunch at 12:30pm on Sunday and told "we won't be able to seat you today." Not, "not right now"... Not "it'll be a wait"... Literally refused service by the host staff. This is unacceptable. Will NEVER return. If you can't accommodate a party of 5 on a Sunday- you shouldn't be in business. Plenty of other options.
