Excellent food and a really interesting environment with a lovely ornate bar area. Wine by the glass quite pricey but a decent selection. Great service

Have been eating at this neighborhood gem for many years and the food is consistently good. Good wine menu and wait staff. Cozy, small restaurant on busy street with sometimes annoyingly loud motorcycles ( if you sit outside) otherwise go for the burgers on Sunday and Monday night- best in Big D!

We were 4 people and came for dinner a Friday evening. Starters (artichoke) was not good at all. Wine was fine. We all had differ entrees and they were OK but not more. Go somewhere else. This is not a good restaurant.

Has been years since I have been down in this part of town but when i do I always try to patronize the Grape. The food is consistently great and service is top notch. Menu changes and always something interestingly new. Wine list is really good, close to my heart, for the list they carry they do a great job... More

Mid-range bistro-style dining excellently done. Great for couples. Steak is wonderful. Mushroom soup is good but nothing exciting.

I've been to this restaurant several times over the course of 28 years. The last 2 times have been underwhelming. We went for Valentine's Dinner last night. When I made the reservation on Open Table, I had no idea it was a price filxed menu. And it was $67 a person! It was nice to have a variety of menu... More

I've been coming to The Grape for over 35 years. I love the small old sole proprietor atmosphere of this place. Food and service are generally very good.

My open table review Our first time at The Grape and we decided to go with what they are known for; brunch. We thought it odd we were seated in an area that can only be described as the overflow when we were one of the first in the door with reservations. Only two other tables sat in this area... More

So disappointing.....the Halibut, while beautifully presented, was "fishy" tasting, and overlooked, the bottle of Prosecco was not very cold (even though I asked before we ordered it) and the pears in the dessert were not ripe. But, their mushroom soup is divine. And our service on this busy night was excellent.

My friends had raved about this Dallas institution so I had high hopes in the food. Menu selection was really good, but too few fish (only 2 for entry) dishes and no true vegetarian options. We ordered the mushroom soup to start and it was pure heavy. Rich and cream with amazing mushroom flavor. Entrees we had the mussels and... More
