Nice options for breakfast, although not cheap. Good service. Never seemed overly busy. Shocked that they are NOT open for dinner. This is the only restaurant in a 4-star hotel. How can it not serve dinner?!

This restaurant is part of the Warwick Melrose Dallas boutique hotel, located on Oak Lawn Avenue. I tried their Melrose salad - red oak, green leaf, cranberries, peppered goat cheese, candied pecans, topped with a champagne vinaigrette dressing - and added chicken. Their chicken was...a nice-portion chicken breast that was lightly grilled so that it was served on top of the salad moist and tender. Very delicious; highly recommend. They have some great selections for their dinner menu as well.More
We had high expectations and the food was actually pretty good... but the service was PAINFUL. The staff were friendly, but so poorly trained and low staffed and took an hour for entrés. For a former fine restaurant, our server had the knowledge and skill...of a weak Denny's server. They made mistakes that were too many to count. Brought the wrong wine, had NO idea about the wine list and I had to get up and find someone 3-4 times because something was not right. We WATCHED 4 other groups of 4-6 people each DEPART before ordering because the server took so long to either A) Bring their drinks, or B) Greet them. >>>Management needs to start with a whole new staff. Really a shocking experience for a "nice hotel" and what was intended to be fine dining. Ouch!! Hire all new staff.More
I have never experienced such great dining at a hotel. I played it safe and went with a NY strip. It was melt in your mouth tender and cooked to perfection. As good as anything I can find in Los Angeles.
Our hostess, Sarah, and waiters, Roberto, Luis, Ogbemi (spelling??) have been absolutely FABULOUS during our 5 day stay at the Warwick Melrose Hotel. Roberto has gone above & beyond to accommodate me for my meals. Ogbemi was great to speak to, and give us recommendations...of things to do around the city. Food is excellent and the service was wonderful. I highly recommend!!!More
We stopped in Dallas on our way to Midland and had dinner at the Landmark. It seemed to be a busy night but the service was on point. Right when we thought our server forgot about us Jackie came in and saved the day. She...turned it around. On top of that the food was awesome. I tip my hat to the chef. I will be back the next time I visit Dallas.More
The Landmark restaurant staff Jackie, Rafael, and Carlos were very friendly, helpful and professional. The chef also knows how to cook a perfect steak!! It was the best I ever had, very tender. Our whole dinner was delicious.
An excellent dinner with very good service. One of the better meals we had here in Dallas. Definitely worth eating here. The food, presentation & taste of each dish was excellent. Nice atmosphere and a nice selection of wines even good wines by the glass.
The staff are very friendly and provide excellent service. Multiple high quality food options for everyone at the table. The hotel and restaurant are very charming. Highly recommend
This was my first experience here, at both the Hotel and it’s restaurant. They impressed me enough so I know that I will probably dine here again when staying in the area. The staff was pleasant, food well-prepared and delicious, and it was a comfortably...sized space that was simple though elegant. I enjoyed their breakfast, lunch, and dinner during my weekend stay.More
Classic fine dining experience, service very friendly and professional. Hubby and I enjoyed the Caesar and Melrose salads, both portions were very generous. Lobster Mac ‘n Cheese was delicious, very rich&filling, took half of it home. Hubby enjoyed the sea bass which was served with...pea purée and spinach. Lovely and relaxing evening!More
Jackie Shed was a fantastic server!! Very enjoyable evening!! We had a large party of 8. She made in very relaxing and fun for all!!
Booked into hotel for new year's eve. Dinner reservations at 8 prompt. Two couples. Chaos reigned. Drink order didnt arrive until 8:40 and only then when both my husband and I had practically begged 3 different waiters For it. Food was good, but hastily and...randomly popped down on the table. As fans of this restaurant we had invited a couple from Out of town to join us. Very embarrassed at entire situation and the dinner was priced at $85 a head! Breakfast was not much better as we had to beg for orange jiuce. Waiter was very sour. We tried to laugh it off But really?? Good bye Landmark and any further recomendations Respectfully, Patty Ferguson CanterburyMore
We regularly eat at the Landmark restaurant on the weekends for their delicious breakfasts, and the waiter Gene is terrific!
Can't speak for the restaurant itself, but the room service portion was ok... We had breakfast 2 mornings in a row and it was decent...
