DFWs most proper Irish pub and restaurant. Family owned, offering traditional fare & music, and the craic is good. Extensive whiskey and craft beer selection. All ages, patio, and snugs. Sláinte!
I have been here several times when I am in Dallas, and it's just as good as ever. During COVID, the employees were wearing masks, and customers were doing a decent job of social distancing, so I felt safe. As usual, their shepherd's pie and...Smithwick's were delicious.More
The pint I was served had such a perfect top that I almost didn't want to mess it up by drinking it, but....I did. I had the fish and chips, and it was very good The waitress also gave me a little appetizer of homade...chips that were excellent Should probably mention that service also very good.More
We hosted a Sunday Brunch party for 30 Family and UPUMC church Friends on my birthday February 2. The managers and wait staff were splendid, helping to setup and smoothly serve the diverse crowd, making us all happy, including a substantial discount on the entrées....We’ll be back soon!More
My wife and I stopped here prior to heading to a concert at The House of Blues. A Thursday evening, semi early at 4:30 PM. Just your locals enjoying a pint before heading into Dallas traffic, I suppose. Brent our waiter and server promptly greeted...us and brought water and coffee that we ordered. We had a prime booth that offered some privacy and looked out over the entire pub. Brent answered our questions about a few custom Irish drinks and the rum they had in stock. We ordered our cocktails and a meal of Shepard's Pie along with the Fish and Chips. The rum was awesome, the Irish coffee was spot on. The shepherds pie was hot, fresh and plentiful. The meat had a very savory gravy with it. The Fish and Chips were a welcome sight. Normally you will fish and chips served up as fillets or strips. Not here. There was a beautiful cod steak, light on the batter and cooked perfectly. Certainly not over cooked. All in all it was a very nice visit and we will return soon. If you get a chance check it out. From time to time they have live music.More
TripAdvisor's recommendations of a quintessential Irish pub experience made me decide to dine there the other evening. . After being seated for a while, my waiter appeared and asked for the drink order. I asked to try one of the draughts, which he happily brought....With the waiter at the table, I decided not to order an IPA pint and go with a more traditional Irish brew. The waiter disappeared and for the next 15+ minutes I sat at the table. Another server came over to ask if I had been helped, to which I said that I was being served. And she went to see about the ordered beer. When the beer finally arrived and the waiter took my order, another disappearance act ensued. After another long wait, the entree arrived--corned beef, cabbage, potatoes and carrots--and the waiter, again, disappeared. The potatoes were undercooked (hard, impenetrable), the cabbage was scant, and the carrots were cold. Another 10 minutes passed before the waiter returned to see how was the dinner, and I noted the problems with the kitchen. He offered another plate; I only asked that cooked potatoes and warm vegetables be brought back to the table. Time passes. When the vegetables arrive, the potatoes are, indeed, cooked, the carrots warm, and the wedge of cabbage probably thrown into a microwave where the exterior leaves were semi-cooked and the interior raw. There was no winning the Irish Sweepstakes this particular evening.More
We stopped by for just a 'quick' bite, but the service, the food, and the staff made us stay. Trinity Hall has a fantastic assortment of beers, ales, and stouts. The menu is amazing! We ordered 3 different apps, and were completely satisfied with them....In fact, they were so 'large' we got the leftovers to go and they were still awesome the next day! As Arnold said, " I'll be back".More
Everything an Irish Pub should be and it also has great food. Fun atmosphere and good service. The menu is a bit more complex than most Irish Pubs but they put out great steaks and lamb chops in addition to Irish favorites. A recommend for...this side of townMore
Last night, my family went to Trinity Hall Irish Pub & Restaurant for my daughter’s 17th birthday. We had a fun experience and really enjoyed ourselves because our server, Alyssa, took such great care of us. She made a good recommendation for me for my...dinner choice, the Dublin Bay Casserole, which has cod, shrimp, scallops, peas, carrots, potatoes, and Bechamel sauce. When my husband ordered an Arnold Palmer for his drink (half iced tea/half lemonade), she brought a little covered pitcher of lemonade for him to have at our table so that she could refill his drink easily as needed through the evening. My daughter loved the Colcannon potatoes that were one of the side dishes for her lamb chops. At the end of our meal, Alyssa brought out a container that had all the Colcannon potatoes available in the kitchen at that time as a birthday gift for my daughter. My family had a great dinner at Trinity Hall Irish Pub & Restaurant because Alyssa made it a memorable evening. Thank you!More
Excellent food and walking distance from Magnolia Hotel nice little shopping and eating center. Had an elevator if you couldnt climb steps
The atmosphere in this restaurant was pretty good. Our waiter was great and friendly. The food unfortunately was not what I expected. My dish was overly spiced with hot sauce and it was supposed to be crispy, but was really soggy. I wouldn't order it...again, but there were a lot of other dishes on the menu I'd be willing to try.More
Excellent place on a Friday night for food & drinks. Large selection of beer, and the food was really good - wonderful BBQ Chicken Salad, in addition to the F&C. Fun music too!
This is a great place to relax with your SO and test some new beer. Loved their Dublin bay casserole and will try to make it at home, overall a great experience.
I was intrigued by the vegetarian Shepherd's pie and was impressed by how vegan-friendly this place is. That is especially odd for an Irish pub. I am not vegan, just vegetarian, but the waiter asked me very careful questions about everything to make sure my...dietary restrictions were met. I love cheese myself, but I appreciated the effort they put in all the same. Very nice waiter and the ambiance of this place is great! Feels very authentic.More
