While this restaurant is super expensive, it is also super neat. First, you have valet parking. Then you ride an elevator down to the restaurant. There is a dark, romantic, calm mood upon entering the restaurant. We had a reservation for after 9pm, so the...More

I travel for business frequently and am always looking for up-scale restaurants that are unique with great service. Dakota's in Dallas fills this bill and more. The look of the space is really unique; a grotto several floors underground with one wall dedicated to a...More

What a wonderful dinner. Great advice from Brandon and a lovely meal for everyone. From start to finish this was a great evening and we all really enjoyed our dinner. Would have no reservations about recommending Dakotas to anyone and hope we can visit again...More

The service was up and down last night. And then the major gaffe: the steak I got was a hockey puck. The medium order filet was very well done and unacceptable. It was replaced by a medium steak after a wait of 20 minutes. It...More

As you can imagine, we are very disappointed to read your review. If there's anything we are proud of, it's our steaks and service, so we are terribly disappointed to hear that the steak you received was anything less than delicious. That said, your meal...More

Very good steaks, drinks and wine. Very good sides (each side is too much for one person), excellent service, and very expensive. Make sure to have the coconut cream pie for desert. It’s excellent.

Went here whilst at a conference in Dallas, our waiter (Nick I think) was very knowledgeable about the steaks and recommended a variety to us (most expensive ones) food was absolutely superb the Rib Eye was to die for. What REALLY annoyed us was that...More

From the moment we spotted the unusual entrance, it was a great evening. The food and service were excellent. Steak was very tender and flavorful. Scalloped potatoes were delicious and coconut pie was well worth the extra calories. Overall, a great experience.

End of a long week, wanted a decent (non-hotel) dinner. Dakota's was a reasonable walk. Had a reservation, but decided to eat at the bar. Nice ambiance, live piano in the background. Ribeye was incredible. Sauce was sublime. Mashed potatoes were amazing, but far too...More

We went to Dakota's late one afternoon after walking around town for a while. Wasn't sure what to expect as the restaurant is a bit hidden and you go below street level to enter. We sat in the bar area and enjoyed the ambience of...More

Came here with co-workers on a business trip. We ordered shrimp cocktail and calamari for an app. I had the elderberry “75” for a cocktail- definitely recommend! A bit dark inside, but they had a beautiful waterfall.

Well Hello, my name is Don Kappel and I have an idea for a new television show all about wine. As you probably know there are lots of food/cooking programs being broadcast today, and even a cable tv channel called the food network, but nothing about wine! Wouldn't be nice to learn about wines, how it is produced, where it comes from and what foods are a perfect match. Well, that is what this show would be all about. So here is my question for you. Would you want to have your company featured on this program? If your answer is YES, would you be willing to make a minimum investment to help with production costs? We are looking for 4 title sponsors to make a one time investment of $5000. and you would have special acknowledgements with mentions at both the opening and closing of the show as well as advertising time during all commercial breaks. This is a great investment opportunity. At this point, we are working with 3 different television production companies (2 in Calif and 1 in Texas). We do have interest from a few cable networks, like the Food Network, Cooking Channel and the Travel Channel just to mention a few. So it's up to you, do you want to be the first company to support IT IS WINE TIME? Please let me know and your sponsorship will be put under a contract. Thank you, Don Kappel PS. Please contact me to arrange a meeting to discuss this opportunity

Description
We believe the best steaks come from the best cut and quality. That's why we get all of our beef fresh from renowned beef purveyors, Allen Brothers. Each cut is corn and grain fed USDA Prime steak that our chef handpicks. Each steak is aged for a minimum of 28 days for a perfectly tender, juicy bite every time. It is our goal to give you a great meal every time you join us for lunch or dinner. We update our menu twice a year so each time you dine with us you experience fresh flavors that go with every season.
