The food, service, atmosphere, all excellent! Reservations are required. Very popular and always crowded. Located in the trendy Bishop Arts District, self parking is difficult but they do valet park. Pricey but excellent food!

The only reason that i do not put 5/5 was that there was only one bad thing about this place but i will mention it at the end. This place is one of the best in Dallas. Great location, beautiful interior and amazing and tasty dishes. Everything that we took was amazing and the service was just fast and really... More

As a Dallas native and now a frequently returning visitor, I'd somehow never heard of this delightful spot. It's exterior is relatively nondescript among the loud facades of Bishop Arts, but the interior is a treat. Lovely, bright atmosphere! The southern style brunch dishes were top notch...the stand out was the bacon wrapped fried oyster egg dish. Starting the meal... More

The food was delicious ... Meatloaf and Buttermilk Fried Chicken with an amazing gravy! Service was good but not friendly or engaging. So loud in there it was hard to converse and a few of the tables are on top of each other. In the middle of our meal the people next to us were ready to leave and the... More

I am a great cook from LA & was not impressed. Others seem to love this place. The shrimp & grits were floating in some red sauce. It taste like tomato soup with hot sauce. My friend had the meatloaf. The texture did not seem right. This place is overpriced for the dishes they serve.

Went there for Sunday Brunch . The server got our food wrong. Then another server came back and grabbed the sausage off of our plate. Wow... Then we could not get our food or drinks or sides . The 2 servers were so bad that all was ruined. Will never go back

The wait staff is absolutely wonderful very friendly knew the menu very well. The restaurant is very nice and a great romantic place for date note even though it would have been nice to have music. Now for the best part the food OMG it's soul food but with a creative twist. We had chicken calamari, tomato bisque, Lamb chops... More

This service was great, the food nothing to brag about. I was not impressed at all. The menu was interesting and not in a good way. I will not be back. The drinks, they are trying too hard and they are horrible. A good mixologist is definitely needed. The stars go to the service not the food.

A friend treated me to lunch here for my birthday. What a great gift. The decor was bright and simple, and our server was top notch. I had the chicken salad and it was delicious. You could tell it was freshly made. The croissant was light and delicious. The portion was large enough to take half home for dinner. I... More
