She had the shrimp and grits- the best we have ever had. I had the braised short ribs- the best I have ever had. See a trend here? My bread pudding was heavenly, as was her key lime pie. Service from Jeffery was attentive but not intrusive- the way we prefer it. Yes, we will be back. The general theme... More

Had a ladies lunch - got our mom's together for a 'play date'! Easy valet service made it simple to get the older ladies in the restaurant. Cozy bar and foyer while the main restaurant is bright, cheery and airy. Simple yellow Calla Lily adorned the tables. I enjoyed a really good Bloody Mary while waiting for the rest of... More

Very nice, clean restaurant! My wife and I ventured to the Bishop Arts District for lunch and enjoyed the atmosphere of Hatties. The service was excellent and the food was great. I had the Chicken Fried Chicken Sandwich with sweet potato fries. Excellent!

After almost ten years' enjoying Hattie's, we will never go there again. Travelling with friends from Australia, we recently booked for what we thought would be a nice farewell to Dallas dinner for them. The food and wine were first-rate, as always, but our waiter rushed us through the beginning of the meal (I had had two bites of my... More

Classy restaurant with wonderful service and fab southern food. We went for brunch and loved the Chicken and Waffles. The combination with their special syrup was fabulous. Definitely make reservations and valet parking for $5 is available if you can't find anything close on the street. A very special place within a very unique part of Dallas.

Great restaurant in the Bishops Art area in the redeveloping area of Oak Cliff. Service was great as well as the food! Reservations are recommended as they are very busy!

Visit this charming restaurant and enjoy superb service, delicious food and ambience that makes you want to return. We enjoyed a lovely family evening the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. We had a few special requests to modify the menu items and our wait person was not hesitant to deliver. Key lime pie is a signature dessert and worthy of the title... More

Delicious food and atmosphere at Hattie's in the Bishop Arts District of Dallas. I could not more highly recommend the warm ham and Brie sandwich on raisin bread. A must have! The pimento cheese sandwich is great and the sweet potatoes fries were yummy as well. Excellent wait staff made for a wonderful experience!

We stayed downtown but grabbed a cab to check out this hidden gem. So impressive. White table cloth service without being stuffy. Excellent southern style dishes with an impressive wine list. Oh yes, we will be back
