I agree with everyone that the atmosphere is very nice for a date, although I have visit Lavendou in many occasions and with different type of people. I have been on a date with my husband, a quiet dinner with my mom, and with our kids for an end of the school year dinner. Every time we have enjoyed Lavendou.... More

We went by recommendation, as we had already tried a few French restaurants in Metroplex. The place is romantic (everyone was couples having some alone time, so don't bring the kids) and the waiter was a pro. He was not the usual temp, but a real waiter, knowing when to be there and when not. The food was a disappointing,... More

We went for High tea this past week. As always, they accommodated our vegetarian request. I had the earl grey tea and my young one had an herbal decaffeinated. The sandwiches and pastries were delightful! Highly recommend!

Another enjoyable visit to Lavendou in Dallas. The Dover filet was perfect along with the wine recommendation. We used to come here for special occasions but now come to enjoy the food and the day.

I spent a lovely two hours on Saturday afternoon enjoying high tea service with my daughters, sister-in-law, niece and mother-in-law (there are very few places in the D/FW area where high tea can even still be found). The ambiance was lovely and conducive to conversation. But we found the menu pricey for the typical fare: mini eclairs, berry tarts, scones,... More

This is my favorite restaurant. I would eat here all the time if I could! :-) It's a little more expensive than what we usually go for, but prices are appropriate for the wonderful food and great service. Romantic atmosphere :-)

I've eaten here so many times and never have been disappointed. The food is always consistently good and the service is warm and personal. My daughter's bridal tea was hosted here and ended up being more fun than we could have imagined. The waiters were overly attentive and the scones, oh the scones! Bravo Lavendou, I'm off to make a... The Raspberry Souffle is superb, be sure to order it when you are ordering your meal so that it'll be ready in time for desert. Best to make a reservation so that you don't wait or have to be seated outside.

If you like French Provencal cuisine, this is the place to go. We have never had bad service or a bad meal here. The owner is very engaging, and the staff is very experienced and friendly. It is a place where you can come, relax, and savor the delectable cuisine.

Our family enjoyed a delightful birthday lunch at our favorite French restaurant, Lavendou. Service as always was top notch and the food continues to be delicious and consistently outstanding. Prices are extremely reasonable for the quantity and quality of all their offerings. We started with the assorted appetizers: pate, cured meats, olives and pickles along with their excellent bread accompanied... More

Lavendou, a retreat into the French countryside - a place where life is savored as much as the food. Lavendou is thoroughly French, from the inviting decor to the gracious service and authentic cuisine. But don't expect it to be pretentious. Owner Pascal Cayet is dedicated to providing service that is friendly and efficient. And you will find Chef Francois Soyez's menu to be deliciously approachable. Serving the lighter fare of Southern France, Lavendou offers many items to tempt your taste buds.
