We picked Local because it was close to the Music Hall for a showing of Hamilton. We loved Hamilton, but Local was the big surprise and added pleasure of the the evening. Great service, great food and great ambiance. We love a restaurant where the...More

Tucked away on Elm street is this neon sign LOCAL. Very old Dallas hotel now whose lobby is a 5 star fine dining establishment. Wasn't even sure where the front door was but inside we were treated like royalty. Quiet, romantic, just a perfect place...More

We celebrated my birthday at Local Restaurant. Really enjoyed the laid back but hip atmosphere. We dined on the Chef's Tasting Menu which consists of 7 courses. Presentation was excellent, the food was delicious and perfect sized portions. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. We...More

Great meal with the 7 course meal and they were flexible with the salad selection. Meats are more cooked than I would expect..e.g. salmon was medium well but great toppings and sauces. Great sorbet. The drinks are very pricey for the portion size..err strength.
