This has been a family favorite for more than 50 years. My parents went in dates to this car hop and have included this in our family wisdom for years. Our kids that live out of town come home and the first thing they want to do is go to here. I true landmark for locals!!!!!!!

This place has been a part of Dallas since the 1950's. The burgers are delicious and the root beer float is a classic!! Definitely worth going!!

We live about 4 miles from the Dairy-Ette and have been going to the Dary-ette for probably 30 years. Although you can go inside and sit in a crowded booth that's almost worn out from 60 years of use, we always stay in our car and let the car-hop bring our meal on a metal tray that fits onto the... Opened in 1956 and few changes! This small hamburger bar has had little changes, and that's a good thing. Order the burger with French fries and a Rootbeer. Pick a stool at the bar. As you look at the old signage and the wood paneled walls, you will be transported back to the 1950s. The hamburger or cheese burger is... More

It's a drive-in and has seating available. Excellent hamburgers and cheeseburgers, prepared the old fashioned way. The BEST Tater Tots! And homemade root beer. The best. If you ask, they'll even make you a root beer shake!!

Dairy-Ette delivered a delicious hamburger quickly and cleanly. The staff was pleasant. The Restaurant was busy at 2 p.m. on a Saturday. The price was also good at about $11 for one hamburger, one cheeseburger and an order of onion rings. Dairy-Ette qualifies for inclusion on my road trip searches for a good hamburger.

I have been going here since I was a child. They have the best home made root beer I've ever tasted and the French Fries are awesome along with everything else on the menu. They still gave car hops and it is my favorite place to go with my kids and will be taking the grand kids soon.

I've been there twice and they got my order wrong both times. I do not stutter. If you get take-out from this place, check to make sure you have got what you ordered before you leave. At least their drink prices are competitive with Sonic.

the food taste good. its not the best but you leave feeling happy because it was affordable. my only complaint is no free refills on soda. its a mom and pop owned place and has been a family stop for 40 years.

While searching for a local business we happened across the Dairy-Ette. Owning an ice cream shop myself, we had to try it. A step back in time, with car hops, red and white vinyl booths and stools.Home made root beer in frosted glass mugs. Sundeas in heavy glassware. Excellent. Great burgers and a good value. The place is dated, so... More
