This particular Uncle Julio restaurant has been open for 15+ years. I've been here dozens of times. In the 90's, this restaurant was ahead of the curve. Their location, decor and flavors were among the best. Their pricing has always been expensive, but the flavors and decor set them apart. This is no longer true, yet they have the same... More

Wide variety of traditional Mexican food served by people who seem to care about the service and those they are serving. Portion sizes are good. Staff doesn't rush you through a meal. Mid-range to inexpensive: very affordable. All and all an enjoyable experience.

Have been eating here for years. Quality and experience slipping. Went for brunch today. Service was very neglectful, even though only 3 tables in restaurant at 10:30 brunch. Chilaquiles bland and gummy. Salsa, chips, queso good. Sad to see if deteriorating overall. Won't return.

When I lived in Dallas, this was one of my favorite restaurants. I went for dinner. Chips and salsa were brought to the table. I ordered a drink, and while I was looking over the menu 2 cockroaches decided to walk across my table. The manager offered to change my seat. Seriously? You think I want to eat at a... More

Business lunch with a large group. Ordered a variety of dishes. All liked what they got. Portions were large. Service was fine. Mains came out warm and together. Food was not overly spicy, but we were told we could have ordered extra spicy.

I love this restaurant! Have been to his location several times over the last couple of years and the food is always fantastic! I started with a top shelf margarita and table side guacamole. Then I moved on to a lunch order of skirt steak fajitas! The fajitas are mouth watering!! Rolando was our waiter and he was fantastic and... More

We have been coming to this location for about 2 1/2 years. It use to be a great place for Sunday Brunch. The management is really slipping. The food quality, service and atmosphere has really deteriated. This last time we ate here it took 20 minutes to get seated. There was only one couple ahead of us and plenty of... More

This has been our go to restaurant for years. I have written many glorious reviews. Tonight's visit was a big disappointment. It start off wrong and continued that direction. The bar was slow. The food took twice as long as usual. The service was below average. We couldn't wait to pay and leave. So sad. Time to try some new... More

Our group of nine family and friends dined at Uncle Julio's on Saturday, November 19. We were seated quickly and served fresh hot chips and salsa and drinks. A number of dishes were ordered by our party including steak fajita nachos, carne asada tacos, fish tacos and beef fajita quesadillas. The food was all superior and with ample portions. The... More

Full disclosure, I have been to Uncle Julio's too many times to remember, and it's pretty much the go-to restaurant for my family when we want great food and generous portions without taking that next step up to a steakhouse. All in, for a family of four without alcohol (OK, maybe a beer or two) you can keep it to... More
