My husband and I have dined here for years and have always raved about the garlic knots, the house salad and the lasagna. The last two times that we have eaten here we noticed a decline in the quality of the food. We tried the...restaurant again today for lunch and were disappointed. The service was fine, however most of the food was not. The garlic bread was served hot and it was very flavorful. The house salad used to be served cold and crispy with just the right amount of Italian dressing. Not so today. The veggies were fresh, but were almost room temperature and with too much dressing. The lasagna was just plain bland. I am not sure that we will be back.More

Terrific first time in. House Salads were a perfect size and the house dressing was good too. Linguini with the mushroom/meat sauce was very good. As was the chicken Marsala. Service was very good!

When you get tired of the big chains and the over-hyped new spots, just go visit one of our old standards. Consistent quality, next-door-neighbor staff and ownership, and a check that won't break the bank.

Service can be inconsistent because they have a lot of high school kids as waitresses. In 20 years, I have never had a bad meal. About 30% cheaper than Macaroni Grill. Nice neighborhood setting, but maybe that's because I live nearby. Very safe parking and...location. People rave about garlic rolls, which weigh about 3 pounds each, They are lovely but I go low-carb most of the time and get shrimp scampi and their house salad with a great tart dressing. Got pizza last visit - a bit expensive but thick crust and fresh vegetables- almost like a light lasagna on crust. Peroni and Moretti beers are reasonabl;e priced. two people with drinks - $53 plus tip = $60-65. I'll be back next Thursday.....!More

Whether ordering take-out or dining in, you can count on consistent excellent food at Alfonso's. The weekend evenings can get crowed and noisy, so if possible, get there a little early or eat there during the week. We often call in our order to pick...up also. Best house dressing anywhere around. So much better than Olive Garden in my opinion. The garlic rolls are to DIE for!!More

This restaurant is in a plaza setting, most spaces are unoccupied. The food in there is great! Ate there twice on my trip to the Dallas area last week. Food was not too hot that you could not eat it without burns, but not too...cool. I had the pasta with meatballs, side salad and a couple of beers. The service was good, but not great. It was kind of slow. I definitely would eat here again if my travels takes me back to that area.More

Dined here with husband and sister and her husband. Our waitress was attentive, and very versed on the menu. We all decided on the lasagna. It was delicious. And their house salad is fresh and tasty. The place is a small, very pleasant dining experience....Highly recommend.More

Our group of six dined here tonight and really enjoyed the food and service. We all ordered water with lemon on the side (two containers were served...one on each end of the table). 4 persons had the house Merlot (Canyon Road), one had the Blackstone...Merlot and one had the house Prosecco. All were liked. The house salad was super fresh and we all had the house Italian dressing in the side. The garlic knots were served piping hot. We asked for butter on the side. Then the lasagna was served seriously piping hot. It is cheesy with noodles that are not too thick. The Neopolitan cake was a hit too.More

our party of 5 business meeting dinner was a pleasure at Alfonso's, Hostess and wait staff served us quickly and allowed time to order drinks and taste a wine selection prior to ordering. Many traditional Italian dinner options were enjoyed at our table. I was...particularly surprised to see Halibut on the menu and opted for that meal - and it was fresh and delicious. We did not opt for coffee and dessert. Perhaps next time! Will come again when in town.More
