Nostalgic old bbq joint near downtown. Nothing pretty to look at, but the food is terrific, the prices are reasonable. Staff is courteous and efficient.

It's a little hole-in-the-wall, mom-and-pops kind of place. The food was ready pretty quick and the taste was ok. Some of the meats were a bit cold, but overall it was good. The service was good as well.

This is very over priced! The portion is very small. Not my first choice for bbq in Dallas! This is just mediocre and over priced!

It's nice that they have an order online option, after driving all day we were not up for going to a crowded restaurant. This place is very crowded, there was a long line to sit down so I assumed it must be great. The BBQ was good, nothing outstanding or award winning but good and no complaints. The rest of... More

In Dallas for business and this place was recommended. Good BBQ but the fryer was broken which was a bit disappointed. Cool dive spot though.

Probably not the best idea to go to BBQ on a business lunch , because you have to eat ribs with your fingers. A knife and fork just isn't right for BBQ and fried chicken. I didn't see fried chicken on the menu, but saw a Sonnys famous fried chicken in the south part of Dallas. Next visit, I'll try... More

My husband and I went to Sonny Bryant because of all of the great reviews. However, our visit was very disappointing. The the smoke turkey did not taste smoked the chicken was too salty the beans and potato salad was bland. My husband had the onion rings that had no flavor and the brisket was not good either as if... More

This was my second visit to this restaurant, the food is mediocre. Nothing to rave about and over priced. Staff could use some training in customer service skills.

Sonny Bryan's on Inwood is akin to Mecca when it comes to BBQ in Dallas. The original location on Inwood Road near Southwest Medical and TWU still has the concrete floors, oscillating fans, and grade school desks it had 40 years ago. Bottles of Barbecue Sauce are still stacked on flattop warmers, and they still call your first name or... More

Great food and great service. 10 out of 10. Say g'day to Oz and he'll make sure you're looked after. We arrived late in Dallas (traveling from Australia) and stumbled across the Smokehouse. Definitely did not disappoint.

Thank Paul B
