The Capital Grille is a staple for us and we've enjoyed it in various cities we've lived in or traveled through. CG's Dallas location did not disappoint and is now one of our favorites. The bar is a must stop before dinner or you can enjoy your dinner there, too. The service at the bar and in the restaurant is... More

The food is decent but not really for the price you have to pay for it, there are plenty of other places you can go to IMO. The lamb chops are pretty decent but they are expensive

One can almost envision J. R. and Sue Ellen Ewing (of 70s TV Dallas fame) eating here. Very up scale, very swanky, very genteel. I'm not sure what I was doing there other than having been invited by a client. I had fillet mignon and it was excellent. I was also taken with the brussel sprouts -- with a lovely... More

Other than our great waiter the food was terrible! The salad looked like it was days old. The waiter had recommended the Seabass it was in a sauce that was so bad I couldn't even eat it and fish was raw in the middle. Desserts were pretty good, but Overpriced for bad food. Not like it used to be Really... More

As a restaurant manager myself, I tend to be a little critical when dining at other restaurants. That being said, I treated some of my servers for dinner last night and the service, food and experience were amazing! Our server Catherine was friendly, professional, very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to take care of us. She had great menu... More

Capital Grille in the Crescent Hotel is the first CG in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metro area. We now have a CG in Plano and one in Ft. Worth. Both are fine restaurants but I enjoy the uptown location because the Crescent Hotel is one of the most beautiful hotels in the U.S. We dined here on Friday, Dec. 26th. Heather... More
