From initially no valet to take our car (but being greeted very apologetically by the valet at the door) to not having our reservation, but good naturedly getting us the best table by the fireplace, we had a terrific meal and evening. We had 2 of each course: teaser, substance and dessert. Farro risotto, Foie Gras, Texas boar, Smoked pheasant,... More

The Mansion was once a great restaurant, and I used to enjoy dining there (and did so frequently) when I lived and worked in the Turtle Creek area. Having not been there for several years, I recently decided to revisit the place to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. Very bad call on my part. On the positive side - the restaurant... More

Very disappointing. Still one of the best settings in all of Dallas. We have been coming here for 30 years. It has not lived up to its potential for a long time now. Several people in our party ordered hamburgers from the "bar food menu" on The Mansion Terrace and we all agreed it had to be one of the... More

Great music in the bar. This is a fun place with a historic past as the place to party. Everyone from Sinatra to Sting has stayed and played here.

I finally had a chance to go here and the storied restaurant, and could not have been happier. Overall, the staff, and the bar does not disappoint. I think the bar rivals some of the best in America like the Bull and Bear in NYC, or the Palm D'Or in Chicago. Just a great vibe that is lively but not... More

After a long board meeting we decided to go back to the hotel and have dinner at the hotel restaurant. The service is really fantastic and they were ae to seat us without a reservation on a Saturday night. From the start everything was delightful. I had the steak Tatar and gnocchi with sweet potato essence, quite delicious. Others had... More

Staying here at the hotel which is wonderful and luxurious so we wanted to have lunch. Menu was weird and strange so I had the Reuben sandwich which was so salty I sent it back so they brought me the croque msr sandwich which I again sent back. Too salty Left very disappointed and cancelled the dinner reservations we had.... More

For your next special occasion, treat yourself to this historical restaurant. This is wonderfully high end with quiet and classy dining. The service is superior and so is the food. Lovely surroundings, valet parking and easy in and out for the elderly. The smoked scallops with fun "ocean air" was off the charts as was the pork short rib. This... More

In the original part of the Mansion, it affords a feeling of intimate dining. The menu is small but extraordinarily imaginative. My wife (more adventurous than I) chose one of two prix fixe five course menus. A "salad" of frozen pureed watermelon and rind with ginger; a scallop, lamb's belly, squab and a three part dessert I won't attempt to... More
