Last Friday night there was a group of about 8 of us that wanted to grab a quick bite and drink before our flight, so we decided to stop by Campisi's on our way to our gate. Huuuge mistake. I don't know if the airport one is franchised or not, but it is definately not up to par with Campisi's... More

This place is a mafia-buff's paradise! The walls are filled with great photos and the history of the place. They have an extensive menu and the food is good. There are three main areas to choose to dine in. The atmosphere is dim and nostalgic. The staff is helpful and accommodating.

Campisi's is my favorite place in Dallas. I've had almost everything on the menu. The lasagna and the spaghetti with meatballs are my favorites. The service is just as good as the food. Be sure to get the tiramisu for desert. I've been to this place 3 times in the last two weeks, if that tells you anything.

Was there for business. Appetizers were good, had several of them, until I got some claws. Everything started going downhill after that. Ordered the pasta combination, marinara tasted "off", not like what was served with the appetizers. Didn't finish my plate.

This restaurant is straight out of the "Sopranos"! There was "stuff" relating to the "mob" all over the place, plus the juke boxes at the booths. The food was delicious, and our waiter was terrific. The only negative was that we had to wait too long for our entree. We were told that because of a large party there would... More

Our group was very pleased with this choice for dinner! It was a very simple menu, but the dinners were very tasty. They have been a staple in Dallas area for more than 50 years. The portion were large and the prices were very small. We would definitely go there again. Our waitress (Nina? Blonde hair was great at what... More

If you are a Godfather, Goodfellas, mob movie fan you must go to this original location on Mockingbird. It is straight out of the mob era and remains unchanged. The food is phenomenal! Get there early or make a reservation. Bring some change for the table jukebox so you can listen to Sinatra! We've been going since the 80's and... More

We went to Campisi's on May 14th 1987 after being married by the JP in downtown Dallas. It has become a tradition to go there every year on that date ever since. Make a beautiful memory there and you can be assured that you can relive that memory for many years to come. The food and place remain the same.... More

I've been going to the Egyptian on Mockingbird for over 50 years---yikes that is shocking! It has become this place that you don't even recognize as having not been there in your thinking, and you can taste the salad exactly and completely without ever getting near to the building. The big deal back in the early days was to be... More
