My wife loves a turkey sandwich from here on rye bread. I personally like a pastrami sandwich on rye bread. What we both agree on is the onion pockets (roll). The staff is very friendly and the restaurant has a NYC feel to it. You...More

Deli news is not kosher. They do serve Pastrami and latkes but it's not kosher. Dr. Brown's available.

As a native New Yorker I am always in search of NY deli fare, especially pastrami, corned beef, etc. I stopped in Deli News for breakfast a few weeks ago and then again soon after for a hot pastrami to go. The sandwich was so...More

When you are starving for a real pastrami on rye in the Mid Cities area of DFW, this is one of only a few places to find the real thing. For me the 20 mile drive, 19 minutes, legally, is worth every bite.

To be clear, the food was decent. Not on par with other NYC style deli’s i’ve visited. Great decor, feel about the place. We expected counter order based on the emphasis on the deli counter/behind the counter in the restaurant’s theme. It was waiter/waitress service,...More
