I tend to use pad thai as a yardstick when trying new thai restaurants. I was rather impressed. Went with pork and a heat level of 4. Very good flavor. The pork must have been grilled which gave a very nice smoky flavor to the noodles. It was also tangy and simply presented. This was a unique version and I... More

My girlfriend and I met while in high school, attending the International School Bangkok, and we both love Thai food. When we are in Dallas, we have searched for a Thai restaurant that serves good, authentic Thai food. We found it at Tippy's! We went with another couple and Bob's reaction to his first bite of spicy beef: "Oh my... More

Delicious, affordable, and great service....that's all you need to know. This is a small local restaurant that really knows how to please. I had the Duck Curry, which was flavored perfectly with a side of white rice. The owner of the restaurant, Tippy, came by and was so pleasant to chat with. I can't recommend this restaurant more strongly. Oh... More

The Yellow Curry at Tippy's is a crowd pleaser, but I was slow to try it because I just love my other favorites. Well the windchill felt like high 30's the other night and I wanted to try something new. Glad I did - this dish is packed with onions, carrots, potatoes, chicken, peanuts and more, simmering in a large... More

Have gone to Tippy's several times and here are our observations. It is a family-owned restaurant so expect service that is warm and sincere but less professional and efficient as a franchise restaurant. If you are in a hurry or expect lots of doting, this is probably not your place. However, if you are a foodie, who cares more about... More

This is a small restaurant, with BYOB. The staff is friendly, it is clearly family run. Lots of Thai folks stopping to eat, which is a good sign for authentic Thai cuisine. Been there a few times and the 'medium' heat level is hot. The food is made with fresh vegetables and wonderful sauces. Have had a great whole red... More

This is family owned Thai restaurant. They serve authentic Thai food with excellent quality. I have been here a few times like all the different dishes I ordered. It is mine of the highest ranked Thai restaurants in Dallas for good reasons.

Fresh vegis, clean, delicious food. I had the Green Papaya Salad. Crisp, healthy and VERY delicious. The menu had so many options and all looked amazing. Will definitely be back.
