We arrived a little after 6pm on a Saturday night and were the only customers seated at a table. There was 1 lady seated at the bar. Seems this ace is geared mainly to the weekend live entertainment. The food was just OK. Service was very attentive as we were the only table occupied. Will not return and would not recommend.

If you’re looking for great Mexican food in a quiet, beautiful setting, look no further. This must be the best kept secret in Dallas. The salsa and chips are so good they defy description. Everything I’ve had, with the exception of the queso, is memorable.

Today four friends and I had a most delicious lunch at Giovanni's. We ordered the lunch special (it changes daily) for under $10.00 before tax and tip. Served on our crisp white tablecloths, today's special included a soup, a salad and a main dish. Today's main dish (Tuesday) was a delicious and very generous serving of ground beef kabab with saffron rice seasoned perfectly. Everyone agreed that we would return to sample every day's special.
I would recommend lunch at this restaurant to friends and business associates.
There appears to be a full bar, but we did not order alcoholic drinks at our lunch.
In addition to the Mediterranean dishes, there are also Italian items on one side of the menu.

The worst food and service you could possibly imagine ! One hour into the meal there was still no drink for us and we never were asked if we wanted an appetizer. The sauce was way too sweet. The breading was gross and didn’t stick to the eggplant. The spaghetti lacked any flavor but tomato. I had no choice but to eat since I was in a group and they couldn’t even get drinks to us. The waitress ignored one of our couples and never took the drink order fir them. To get the meal to even progress we had to ask for the manager. The belly dancing never started or at least not while we were there. We never got our salads. Just the worst birthday meal that no one deserved especially after the manager promised our hostess that this would be the best experience ever ! The waitress was incapable of splitting the bills for our group. She asked the hostess of our group how to do this!!!!

Okay..where to start. On 2/8/19 horrible waitress who served us did not know english well..was too busy being flirty with my date and got my order wrong, ..i told her..what i want is not on the menu per say but i wanted to combine the barg filet kabob and the lamb lamb kabob both were on the menu....and i repeated multiple times....she didn't pay attention nor understand ...brought out just the barg kabob...next time wat? Its gonna be just the lamb..! And yes next time she brought out just the lamb and messed up again. Finally the manager or owner a nice man stepped in and solved the issue, but i told them i didn't want the incompetent waitress back at my table for the rest of the night. Shouldn't take that many attempts to get an order right.. i almost refused to eat there at that point.

This is an upscale Mexican restaurant with professional and friendly staff. The chips, salsa and dip were great. Interesting choices and flavorings on the menu. Not the run-of-the-mill Mexican restaurant. The Shrimp Parrillada was fantastic. Bacon wrapped shimp stuffed with jalepeno & cheese. I had the Enchiladas Mexicanos which were very good and flavorful. The kids had the Crispy Tacos which looked great. Everything was very good, We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and the attentive wait staff. Would definitely recommend this hidden gem we found on our vacation.

A classy upscale mexican restaurant, we experienced the Enchiladas Mexicanos and Chicken Enchiladas meals. We love the unique version they had of complimentary chips and salsa befor the meal, and both meals were fantastic. The prices were very good for the quality of the food and service, and the ambiance was very nice and you could hear well at your table.

Lalo's Fine Mexican restaurant is tucked away in a little strip center close to Frankford and Preston Road in Dallas. We had dinner with four of our friends here. The restaurant is lively, but not too noisy. The service is always very professional and attentive. If you want good Tex Mex at a reasonable price this is a good place to go. Good fajitas, enchiladas and other traditional Tex Mex. The margaritas are very good and not too pricey. All in all, a very sound Mexican restaurant to have a nice lunch or dinner meal. It usually is busy, but not so busy that you have to wait.

This place is awesome! It's tucked behind Dallas Martial Arts on Preston just north of Frankford. The interior is very well done - upscale/contemporary. It's not typical TexMex. It's as if you're in Mexico City. The flavors are outstanding! The chicken tamale is the best tamale I've ever had. Everything we ordered was top notch. Can't wait to return!

So, the name is confusing, but the food isn't. Had great calamari thinking we would go Italian. It was great. Then noticed the Mediterranean menu on the other side. Wow, great stuff. Stuffed ground beef with the barberry rice was great. Top it off with great ice cream

Hidden under an Italian cuisine and name, I highly recommend going here for the Persian food! Try the eggplant/tomato/beef stew Badejaman or the beef shiskabob (Barg) and especially the Fesenjan (a barberry think cranberry infused chicken stew). Add these dishes to a yummy butter rice or their specialties cherry butter rice or barberry rice. Round it out with dolmas or a fresh cucumber/tomato/onion salad. Clear your palate with a cold, clean smooth rice pudding with pistachios.
Service is great and fast, food was fabulous, ambiance was elegant and clean, but no apparent dress code.
The owner and servers were gracious and friendly, and very attentive.
Highly recommended!!!!!

This place is actually pretty good. Nothing spectacular the food is satisfying. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Their salsa is very good as is the black bean dip.
We had a really good mango drink there as well. We ordered seafood, chili rellenos and Chicken tamales. All were good but the tamales crumbled into nothing when removing the husk.
The prices were moderate and the portion sizes are nice. Again kudos to the waitstaff for doing a great job there.
