We were seated in the back of the restaurant which allowed our large group to close the door panels. The server was attentive with the beverage and food delivery but the food is mediocre. As a New Yorker, we're used to decent Chinese food and several dishes were rather tasteless. But the ambience is nice and perhaps we'd order differently... More

Dallas is not know for their Chinese, but if you are looking for a nice atmosphere and good tasting not too greasy. Howard Wang's is a good option. I have been a few times and a few of the items I have ordered were their Imperial Egg Rolls, Beef Satay, Honey Garlic Chicken and Mongolian Chicken.

Decided to try Howard Wang's simply based on all of the great reviews it had - "the best Chinese restaurant in Dallas". However, I was disappointed. Maybe I caught them on a poor night, but I thought the service was 'average', the food disappointingly 'average' and the atmosphere 'average'. I would go back, but not in a hurry. Far too... More

After eating at the Southlake location, we chose to try Wang's in the vibrant and young Uptown area of Dallas. Food, preparation and service were impeccable. Outside café type seating, a generous bar area plus a lovely and well appointed interior. The food was tremendous and the service 5 star.

I office near the restaurant so eat here often for lunch. Gary, the waiter, is awesome. The food is very flavorful and the portions are just right for lunch. If you want more spice, just tell them to kick it up a level or two.

I've had two different business lunches here. Both times, the food was tasty and well presented, the service was terrific and the atmosphere was good for discussion and even a bit relaxing. Certainly will go back here many times.

We came after a football game at mid afternoon so it was not busy. Service was good. Clean restaurant. We had vegetable dumplings, vegetable dish with spicy garlic sauce, soft shelled crabs Thai noodles and Hunan chicken All good. We will return.

The food was very tasty and the prices were decent for the area. Wait staff was super friendly and attentive. I went a little later to avoid the lunch rush so not many people in the restaurant. The food was authentic. Reminded me of Chinatown in New York City. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. They also had... More

We went into Howard Wang's expecting some Americanized "ok" Chinese food, to our pleasant surprise we got some authentic Chinese Cuisine. The dim sum here is off the chain and our favorite dishes included Lemon Chicken, Thai Curry Chicken, Sizzling Pork and Moo Goo Gai Pan. Everything we tasted was season well and reminded us of eating in China town... More

This was my first visit and I headed for a bar seat since dining alone. The place was less than half full on a Tuesday night but I was not acknowledged by the 2 bartenders even though they waited on the couple right next to me, so I finally had to ask for a menu. Then it took even longer... More
