I was sitting down to dinner last minute with a girlfriend of mine. I was expecting complete Italian cuisine as the menu wasn't very big and not much to chose from. Everything seemed to be Italian but with an American style flare. Cream corn and others are good but not true Italian. For the price I was not impressed at... More

Went to Lucia last night and had another great meal, however, there seems to be a slipping from previous times. The starter courses were as usual just awesome, but the mains were a bit disappointing this time. The corn salad was superb, really surprised us and the pasta and gnocchi dishes were very tasty. We ordered the octopus and hanger... More

We went here for our anniversary and found it to be a wonderful place. It has a beautifully romantic feel to it although it is not the quietest place. It has the feel and experience of what you see in real Italian restaurants on those travel shows. The food is stellar. It is honestly the best Italian we have ever... More

My husband and I are self confessed foodies and have visited Lucia several times since it's opening a few years ago. It is usually good but there are more consistent restaurants in Dallas. It seems like it used to be just fantastic and has now gone down a level. The pasta is always amazing and fresh. The service is good.... More

Yes, we booked way in advance to get a table on a Saturday. Our meal was fantastic as was the service. We ordered several plates to split and each dish was flavorful and unique.

My husband lived in Italy for 13 years and is a food snob. We have been on a quest to find a restaurant that serves authentic Italian food since moving here in 1998. We stumbled upon this place during a business trip and are happy to report our quest for authentic Italian is over. Delicious!!!!

Everything was great, the service, the food and the ambiance. It is very small and is located in a very quaint neighborhood. It was a true "foodie " experience.

Despite the difficulty in getting a reservation it is well worth the wait. Have dined there several times and it is consistently outstanding. This is authentic Italian cuisine. Multicourse smaller plates makes one think they are in Italy in a small local restaurant in a Tuscan village. Servers are fantastic and attentive without being formal or stuffy. Love the ambiance... It's only my 2nd favorite because of the scramble to acquire reservations is rather painful and one feels "lucky" when you score the right table on the right night... However, when you do it is always an event. This is not a romantic restaurant as the tables are almost "communal" but the experience itself is one of romance. The owners... More

My husband & I recently dined at Lucia, after getting our timing down for snagging a reservation during peak time on a Friday night. You really feel like you are in a special place from the moment you step in the door. Jennifer, the hostess & wife of the chef, greeted us warmly & showed us to our table. The... More
