The atmosphere was nice and relaxing. Service folks were super nice and food was terrific. Loved the coconut shrimp appetizer Yum

This is a gem of a find. Easily missed if you don’t know it’s there. Such a lovely atmosphere. Great customer service and superb menu. All the classics. No fuss. No frills. Just good honest Thai food. Throughly enjoyed my dish. Will definitely return!

I’m not a big fan of Thai but wanted to try what all the rave was about. I ordered the Drunken Noodle (I chose my heat 🔥 as 3, with chicken) and some crispy spring rolls. When I tell you, the best dayuuummm noodle concoction...I’ve ever had. The flattened egg like noodles, beocilli, carrots but like crinkle fries and the touch of basil made this dish a hit! I definitely will be back…👌🏽😘♥️More

Years ago, I came upon this restaurant and fell in love with the “hole-in-the-wall-ness” of it. Now, placed between a taco shop and a Cafe Brazil, Thai Lotus can be found by looking for the faded pink and green facade. The restaurant’s front is so...small that it can be mistaken for a window-service type place, however, upon entering the doors, it is apparent that the patrons are comfortable and the service is excellent. On one particular occasion, I met a good friend of mine for dinner. We were seated immediately and given water within seconds of our arrival. Although this restaurant is incredibly popular for their take-out (as was evident by all the people coming in and leaving with already packaged food containers), the servers were attentive and kind. When we ordered our food: a green curry for me and Pad Thai for my companion, we were asked about the preferable spice level and given options for the different types of accompaniments. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and was at the perfect temperature for tasting (too hot for devouring). We enjoyed the spice and the Thai flavors in both of our dishes. Although they do not serve alcohol, we enjoyed ourselves immensely and will return anytime a craving for Thai food surfaces (which is at least once per week).More

Very Good Food, Quick Service, Love the Nice People, Family Owned. Well priced food, love their Gioza, their shrimp fried rice is good. My spouse said the the Curry dish is very good as well. I dont like Curry, but it tasted and it wasn't...real strong, even I wasn't offended by the taste. It is a small place, but quaint. I go there two or three times per quarter. It is tucked away, so we forget about it, but when we remember we go right back. It is definitely a place to try.More

Very small restaurant but the food and portions are above average. The service is fairly efficient without much friendliness--not rudeness just not friendly LOL.

Ordered shrimp fried rice, chicken fried rice and wonton soup for takeout. From reading reviews thought this would be a great place to try. For $36 it was below to very average. Paid extra for the shrimp - waste of money! Too many other places...to go before I go back.More

This restaurant located on Cedar Spring. One thing you have to be caution is closing time. This restaurant closed really early in every night(9:00-9:30 p.m.)

Thai lotus doesn't have much curb appeal. But it's an easy five star as the food is unbelievably delicious! The Tom Kha Soup is delicious and the "golden triangle "appetizer is fantastic- fried housemate tofu with a delicious peanut sauce. Big thumbs up!

Stopped in for lunch and was greeted by the owners in a very small establishment. But don't let the small size worry you! They have about half a dozen lunch specials, that you can choose to compliment with beef, chicken, pork, fish or shrimp. I...selected the Pad Thai with chicken, a standby for me. I was asked if I would like it spicy, which I like (both the spice as well as being asked). As it was the first cold snap in Dallas this season, I requested hot jasmine tea. The tea was brought first, with honey as a sweetener, followed quickly by a cup of very tasty vegetable broth. Before I could get halfway done with the soup, my entre arrived, including a spring roll which was amazing. The Pad Thai was a very nice portion for lunch, and was indeed spicy, as I like it. Actually, the Pad Thai was fantastic, with so much shredded chicken that there was chicken in every bite! A very enjoyable experience, and considering the neighborhood, VERY reasonably priced. All around, a fantastic meal, served with speed and attention.More

It's always nice to find a good restaurant that also delivers (@ no extra charge) when you visit a large city & have had a long day, but you want some good food without having to get out on the road again. I am a...great fan of Thai food, & so I usually frequent Thai sites when hungry. Always the problem with delivery on-line orders has been getting the order right, & Thai Lotus delivers great food but also correctly, even arriving within the predicted timeline. The appetizers are probably all good, but we sampled the steam dumplings, crisp Thai rolls, & the Golden Triangle tofu, which did live up it's name with perfectly prepared fried tofu along with some peanut-fusion sauces. The dumplings were a little over-salted, but given the spot-on quality of other menu items, this can be overlooked, especially on a late-night delivery order. The entree dishes were cooked with both highly tuned flavors & also creativity, starting with the Pad Thai, which was simply mouthwatering. The Drunken Noodles were flat Thai noodles seasoned to perfection with basil, onion, & brown sauce. A deliciously spiced dish. Recommend this site to locals & visitors.More

My wife is the Thai fan and I get to join her on these dining occasions. I read the other reviews and this place sounded like my kind of non franchise, non Sysco kind of diner, drive in or dive. This is a small neighborhood...hole in the wall- and it was perfect. We enjoyed the Basil fried rice and cashew chicken. Very fresh ingredients that very prepared quickly and consumed slowly. The service was attentive but not hovering. We were even told they were looking forward to seeing us again!More

We attempted to go to one of our old favorites, the original Black Eyed Pea. It is now closed, for good. We went down a few doors to find Thai Lotus, and thought, "Why not?" We love good Thai food. The restaurant is unpretentious, which...was a good sign for us. My wife ordered Yellow Curry with Chicken, I had Pad Thai with Chicken. We were immediately severed an excellent Hot and Sour Soup made with very fresh ingredients. Both of our meals were excellent! We had a Mango and Sticky Rice desert that was also wonderful. The service couldn't have been better and the price was very reasonable (another good sign for good Thai). We can hardly recommend Thai Lotus for lovers of Thai food!More

Thai is my favorite food and Dallas has a lot of restaurants. I went through several "so called" Thai restaurants until I found one that reminded me of downtown Bangkok and the Floating Market. This place is the best. Small, very small, but if you...want real Thai and not Americanized Thai, this is the place.More
