Conveniently located off McKinney Ave, this restaurant is the perfect place to meet friends for a sweet treat, brunch, or a late lunch. I highly recommend the RASPBERRY CHIPOTLE CHICKEN sandwich. DELISH! I ordered this as a lunch combo with the sauce on the side and the CRUNCHY GARDEN SALAD.

We had another great brunch at Breadwinner's. Creative egg dishes were flavorful and my coffee cup was kept full!

Possibly a great dish: deep fried southern chicken, Belgian waffles with jalapeno and cheese with a hot sauce and creamy sauce with sweet maple syrup. Problem was 1. chicken was soggy (even where they had not soaked it with sauce) 2. Waffles were soggy 3. Waffles were stodgy. Given that I was in Belgium a few weeks ago I think... More

I have been going to Breadwinners at various locations for over 15 years. This is the original and still the best in my humble opinion-maybe it is the ambience in this century old building with the feel of New Orleans. Maybe it is the sweets case that you are subjected to before being seated that you can't get out of... More

Go early; we waited over an hour on a Saturday to be seated. They opened up the bar area which helped. Paying $12 for a ho hum mimosa. Breakfast was good but waitress was slow to bring out creamer, etc when asked. Granted, we had been seated upstairs in a corner. Overall, it was a good brunch. Coffee was robust.

Walked in, "just one?" Guy scrambles for menus and seats me in the most awkard place. Server, with 2 waters, "when is she joining you?" Worst table, dismissuve service. I would have done full entree if I wasn't so uncomfortable. Not going back.

We really liked the neighborhood and vibe of the cafe, and we were really looking for a more low key style. But, maybe too much on the low key. Our glassware and silverware was dirty. We had a table on the porch area, which was very cool and fun...but, the wobbly table was annoying. I know that it's hard to... More

Cute place with great food. A little pricy for breakfast but you get a lot and it was wonderful. They bring a small plate of bread and part of a cinnamon roll to start.

Came here for brunch on a Sunday morning at about 11:00. It was crowded with a lot of groups waiting. We were told it was a 45 minute wait, but could see that they were seating people at a quick rate and we were called for our table in about 20 minutes. We were seated on the top floor by... More

The menu included an assortment of choices; something to satisfy your palate. The environment took me back to all of the feelings from my travels in Europe. When you walk in, the restaurant becomes that quaint little café just outside of Paris. All of our meals were in large portion and everything tasted wonderful. If you are near "Uptown" Dallas,...
