We seem to always end up here for breakfast when we are in town but then the whole town appears to eat here as well. Their portions are very generous and you really need to be hungry when you get here. We have only eaten breakfast here but I understand you can have lunch as well.

We really like the enchiladas, cheese chile relleno and their yummy beans. Great guacamole too. The hamburgers are good also. Great friendly service. The chips and hot sauce are ok. Daily specials. Enjoy!

We annually travel to this area to decorate our families cemetery graves and stopped here for lunch around 1pm. The service was prompt, but that is a good as it gets. My husband ordered the enchiladas and the sauce was a greasy beef chili sauce, not an expected for enchiladas. My son and I ordered the chicken taco salad and... More

One of the best Mexican restraunts that we've eaten at. Hubby devoured the Spanish chicken. I made two meals from the Cross Plains special. People were friendly. Prices were great!

Have been there a few times but as for today I stopped in for lunch. The special was the Chicken Ranch club with fries and tea or coffee. Best $6.99 my partner ever spent. The chips were crisp and dry and NO GREASE! The salsa was plentiful and tasty but not real spicy.

Always a stop when heading home from Abilene. A small, old, plain, typical small town restaurant with really good food. I always have breakfast, and my wife usually has their enchiladas. Never been disappointed. Very good food at reasonable prices. Definitely worth a stop if passing through Cross Plains.

I've been here many times - the food quality is very, very good and the prices are unbelievably low. Large serving sizes. Service is variable.

There was a Sunday buffet available as well as a menu for those who detest buffets (my wife). The service was good but one waitress was wearing a shirt that was probably a little inappropriate (it had words on it that referred to her breast size). Food was good and I would dine there again.

Stopped in for the first time when we visited Cross Plains for Barbarian Days (as in Conan!). I had the tamale plate and the wife had a combo plate. Both were good and the prices were fair. Portions were a good size. The building interior and exterior is dated, but do not let that chase you away.
