Stopped here on our way to a girls weekend trip. The service was friendly, and the food was good. They close at 2pm, so don't plan on a late lunch. They were out of a couple of menu items we asked for.

The chicken salad is amazing!! Chicken fried steak is great too! The munchkin appetizers are great, just expensive. Great atmosphere!!

I was in Crockett for a class and I went with a group to this restaurant. It was a group of 7 which sometimes takes a while but not here. We were served in plenty of time to enjoy our meal and make it back to class. I had the fried chicken sandwich and moose fried, which are just French... More

Cute Cafe right on the square. Plenty of convenient parking. The French dip sandwich was good, and the onion rings were huge. They have milk shakes and malts, along with daily specials. The fruit on the fruit plate was very good. Pretty busy at lunchtime, but they have good amount of tables.

They have a daily special as well as menu items. At the back of the restaurants are antiques and other items for sale. They have a lunch crowd but there is normally a table available.

I always enjoy eating at moose head cafe. I have family in Crockett, and we often eat at the moose head. It use to be the old hardware store in Crockett, and situated on the square. Neat small town to visit and check out a couple of antique shops, and the moose head is a good clean place to stop... More

The Moosehead is on the town square of Crockett. It has an interesting environment because it shares space with a second hand antique store. There are many interesting items to look at.The menu consists of sandwiches, burgers, and country chicken fried steak and cooked vegtables. Nothing special or outstanding but the food is alright. There and lots of Republican political... More

The Moosehead is a Crockett "go-to" place. Come early for coffee and breakfast. Stay throughout the morning for more coffee and visiting with the locals. Burgers, sandwiches, salads and a few entrees on the lunch menu, as well as daily specials. All are great! Lots of bric-a-brac throughout the restaurant with a Consignment Shop at the back. So you can... More

What a delightful spot. You know you're in Texas when you dine here. Loved the George Bush for Governor campaign signs and the general decor, moose heads on the wall, cute and friendly waitresses, etc.. Burgers are very good, so is the chicken fried steak. This place is mainly about atmosphere and decor. It is very popular with the locals... More

The location and décor gives the café some local charm but the food keeps bringing people back. You’ll enjoy the hamburgers as well as the lunch specials during the week, including Saturdays. If you’re in the area, it’s worth a stop. In addition there is a small antique shop in the rear that may be of interest to some.
