While driving along the highway, we came across this wonderful bakery. We picked up some cookies to go and every one of them was delicious. It is a very busy place and we saw lots of people enjoying lunch there as well.

Went by and picked up a triple chocolate cake for a birthday. It was very fresh and good. They have fresh baked bread, cookies, pies, scones and fruitcakes. Also sandwiches and lunch faire. Good place to return to when in the area.

My husband and I stopped for lunch and both of us had the club sandwich. It was fresh and the bread was excellent. I also liked the mango unsweetened tea. I'm dieting so I didn't order a dessert bakery item. My husband had a few chocolate chip cookies. He said they were good but not as good as nestles toll... More

Bakery was crowded this AM but for good reason after tasting the treats we purchased.... Sandy cookies were very good but no one was complaining about the other cookies just grabbing more to load... The fresh breads we purchased was also very good... I regret not getting the jalapeño bread so you don't make the same mistake....get it too

Loved this place. It was raining the day that we stopped and they had cute little cups for coffee. It was on the honor system and you put your change in the tin box. LOVED IT!! Love the goodies they have there. They even gave us a sample! So nice! The workers were polite and nice. You have to stop... More

As a kid growing up I used to get Collin Street Bakery fruit cakes as gifts from my uncle during the Christmas season. After moving to the US I used to get them shipped to my house. It was inevitable though that I would stop at the bakery on our road trip from Houston to Dallas. The taste has definitely... More

We have stopped at the other location for this bakery and just had to stop at this one on our way home from Houston. This location was much busier than the other location as people were having lunch or dessert at this one (maybe it was the time of day we visited that people were using the restaurant). Although I... We have driven by the Collin Street Bakery for years and always said we would stop. During our last trip to Dallas and after the usual traffic slow down because of construction on I 45 we decided to take a break and stop. We are super glad we did! Clean restrooms --always a plus. We had a great lunch sandwiches.... More
