I did not care for the chicken fried steak pieces... The waiter was nice, the salad was okay, but the main meal was not.

We have been going to Cypress Creek Inn for almost 5 years. We go every Sunday and we not only love the food but we have made many friends there. Ben and Jerry offer great customer service. The prices are very reasonable.

We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious and reasonable lunch buffet. I found the fried catfish, beef with gravy, mashed potatoes, veggies,& salad bar...all extremely fresh and tasty. The owner came around passing out brownies in baggies to take away. We received a senior discount...for one buffet trip, which was plenty..they were keeping up well during a very busy lunch hour. Would return. Only other comment is that some attention to making the building exterior more attractive would greatly benefit the customers' initial perception of this restaurant.More

Yum yum yum! We all had the chicken fried steak and mashed taters...so good! Not a fancy place but clean, good food, friendly employees. They do not sell alcohol but you can take in your own. Would 100% eat there again.

This is a dumpy looking on the outside small town Texas cafe with friendly and personal service and pretty good food.

Benjamin greeted us and visited like we were old friends. Menu gives you lots of comfort food choices. We enjoyed our chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans. Simple homey atmosphere makes everyone feel welcome. We enjoyed our visit there

We were doing a driving trip of the hill country and purposely drove to Comfort to eat here based on the reviews. We love to eat at local places. We dined here for lunch on a Sunday and it was not overly crowded but obviously...all locals who just stared at us most of our meal. We are from Texas so I don't think we were dressed unusual, LOL. We both ordered a burger with fries and drinks, our total was $21.88. The burger was decent but nothing spectacular, we have eaten better and worse. The waiter was efficient and nice. It is a small mom-n-pop restaurant, but we would not make the drive out there to dine here again.More

Took my wife and mother in law to lunch. Service was great and food fantastic. I recently finished cancer treatments in the throat and have a hard time tasting processed foods. well let me tell you nothing crossed about my meal. We had the special...baked pork chop with gravy and it was great. Can't wait to go again.More

Small town cafe where everyone seems to know each other. I had the 6 piece shrimp with salad bar and green beans for $9.00. My husband got the Friday 3 enchilada plate special. Apparently customers look forward to them as almost everyone ordered them. Food...was good and service was friendly.More

Driving through Comfort and had that hunger pang feeling. My wife wanted something simple like a burger and did a quick local check and found this cafe listed. It's VERY unassuming from the road, but once inside, found it clean and friendly. They offered a...buffet for lunch but we both chose a cheeseburger. Both were excellent, with fresh veggies and large patties. Fries were fresh cut and cooked just right. Service was quick, even with a fair sized lunch crowd. We will return.More
