Sunday afternnon lunch

We were in Comfort today so that we could come here for lunch and visit a favorite knit shop for my wife. At 1:15 the street was pretty well filled up with cars. We found a spot and went into the restaurant. We picked up the menu by the front door and stood in line to make our orders. I... read more

I love this cafe and go to it all the time for breakfast and lunch and Saturday night dinner. The ingredients are always fresh, the ice tea is made properly and the best in the area. I love their baked goods, like the Lemon Pound cake and Key Lime pie! I love all the soups they make from sratch. .Really... More

We came in for lunch after they big lunch rush so there weren't a great number of people. Food is always good here is give it a higher rating if the main chick who always takes our order were a little nicer. Hint: if you're rude to the customers your tip jar conveniently positioned at your cash register WILL remain... More

This looks like a nice place to have lunch and chat with friends. The special was apple Brie sandwich which sounded yummy but I had eaten. The latte was very good. They offer a selection of local art and wine.

This is my local go-to, and I'm always pleased. Try something different each time you visit. The cheese and bacon scones are wonderful and don't even need butter. Chicken enchilada soup is perfect for a colder day. The staff are always pleasant and you can't help but notice how clean and fresh everything is. Try this next time you are... More

Ate here while on a retreat at the Haven River Inn only 5 min down the road. I had the house salad and a crab cake and both were delicious. Will definitely visit again. One thing to note, they are not open past 4pm, so go early!

We spent the night in Comfort at stopped at High's on the way home this morning. Extremely friendly staff, lots of things to look at and browse through while you wait for your name to be called saying your meal is ready. We had breakfast and everything was hot and delicious. I'm glad we stopped!

After a heavy BBQ lunch in Lockhart we were looking for a light healthy dinner. Chilly & drizzling so had pea soup with farro. Really tasty with crunchy farro & ham. House salad had apples. ,blue cheese, pecans & cranberries. Also cold draft Fireman's 4. Wonderful creamy coconut & lime sorbet to finish our Comfort dinner. Will be back again... More

Stopped off here on a wine tour and our tour guide recommended this place. It didn't disappoint. We had beautiful sandwiches sitting on the deck outside. It's a great place for fresh, tasty food.
